Brendan flies a bit under the radar as far as an individual talent, but I saw him up close in December at a Prep Redzone showcase, and he’s every bit as good technique-wise as I was told. His physical frame and athleticism are also very impressive, and some college football programs have started to take notice. In a span of a couple of days in January, Brendan was offered by Kentucky, Liberty, East Carolina, and Wake Forest. With two more years in front of him, I really think Brendan is just getting started.

Every time we see new film, or evaluate him again in person, we come away more impressed with Hall. It actually helps that he was undersized when we first saw him, because he could only win with technical ability, good pad level, and leverage. Now, 6’6″ and almost 300 pounds, he’s maintained that same technical ability, but with better reach and more weight behind everything he does.

The sophomore had a strong showing at Carolina Showcase. He went head to head against good competition, but still showed the tools to be a D1 OT. The athleticism, size, frame, and technique stand out. He’s still figuring out football and how to win matchups, but believe he will get there. On film, you would want to see him be more violent at the point of attack in run blocking. That being said, he is a wide body who gets butt to the hole and walls off defender. Also, you would want to see him get out of his stance quicker in pass pro. However, the multi sport athlete shows enough tools to call him a D1 prospect. He looked good in pass pro on Sunday. His athleticism, technique, and size are blending together nicely. I like his control, discipline, thought process, and progression at the position. The attributes and intelligence are there. The aggression is there, he’s just figuring out what his body is capable of. Like how me moves to, shows enough quickness and agility. Look for more FCS/G5 offers this summer and next fall. Currently has Charlotte offer.

Hall was on our watchlist and played his way into the rankings as he cracked the rotation as a freshman. He played around 265 last season, but his frame suggests he should be able to add some more good weight and play over 300 pounds in the near future. He flashes great power and hands, and we like his upside.

Hall is still getting stronger, but has a great frame, good footwork, and is excellent in the classroom. His athleticism and ability to climb to the second level is excellent and suggests a high ceiling, as he continues to build strength. He’s a guy worth watching as he was able to crack the rotation as a freshman.
