I love finding young centers because it’s getting more rare by the year to find players who look natural at the position, especially in the younger classes. Hames is still adding muscle and growing into his body, but he has a considerable amount of upside and looks comfortable snapping the ball and in the running game. That will give him a leg up on some other guys who aren’t playing in the middle.

Hames played center and interior defensive lineman for Palisades last season. He has massive strength and has performed well this offseason in camp settings. We’re excited to see him continue to develop over the next few years for Palisades, as a potential college center prospect.
