I have heard some good things before about Jamari, and this setting allowed him to show how good he is in the open field.. He’s received some.carriea before, but he’s played behind some upper class men who were pretty good in their own right. One thing I always like to see with running backs is where do their eyes “live” with the football in their hands. Going through drills during the individual period, Jamari’s eyes are consistently looking down the field for the next cut or defender to elude. I also like his acceleration out of cuts that I saw during the agility drill circuit.

A compact, speedy back, Glover operated primarily as a change-of-pace option last season. This year, he may have the opportunity to earn more carries as a senior. He was efficient, averaging over eight yards per carry and breaking off a few huge runs as a junior. His burst, vision, and speed make him an excellent one-cut back who can get to the line of scrimmage with speed, often picking up chunks of yardage at a time.

Glover didn’t have the volume of touches that a lot of backs get, but he probably deserves to be ranked at some point in the near future. He averaged over eight yards per carry on 76 carries as a junior, showing impressive explosion. He’s deceptively fast, causing defenders to take bad angles and whiff in the open field.
