I saw Donnovan at the CFI Carolinas MEGA Showcase in May, but I wanted to dig into him a little more with the film here. I like his quickness off the ball at the snap, and his athleticism allows him to chase plays outside the box with ease. Donnovan excels on some stunts, using his hands well to disengage and get to the quarterback in pass-rushing situations. The effort is consistent, and there are a few plays where he chases down ball carriers 10 plus yards downfield. With his size and physical ability, college football programs will show some legit interest. Donnovan recently picked up an offer from Charleston, so he’s on his way to a big senior year.

After playing his freshman year at Palisades, Brown played for Apex as a sophomore, racking up 28 tackles and three sacks. Now, he’s moving back to Palisades and is a huge boost for a team with an already-strong pass rush. He has length and past production and I think he could make some noise this summer at college camps.
