Adrian Monford - Cox Mill - 7 Tackles, 3 Tackles For Loss, Interception in victory over Rocky River

[player_tooltip player_id='1858006' first='Dom' last='Baker'] - NW Cabarrus - Varsity Freshman with 6 Tackles, Sack, Fumble Recovery, and TD in victory over C. Cabarrus - Dom was a top quarterback at the CFI Carolinas MEGA Showcase in the spring, however he is showing his versatility playing defensive back as a varsity starter for the Trojans, contributing to their strong 2-0 start out of the gate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572129' first='Nathan' last='Mbanya'] - Ardrey Kell - 10 Tackles, 2 Tackles For Loss, Sack & Forced Fumble vs. Porter Ridge - Nathan has been an important contributor so far for a Knights defense that has held their opponents relatively in check so far this season. Nathan's burst off the line of scrimmage has been a major key to his success.

Allex Jenkins - Chambers - 8 Tackles, 3 Tackles For Loss, QB Hurry in victory over Hopewell

Joshua Dickason - North Mecklenburg - Interception, 5 Tackles, Fumble Recovery in victory over South Iredell - Joshua is a talented player I have been watching for the last couple of years. Joshua excels in man coverage and his impact on the Vikings strong 2-0 start can be seen in their dominant defensive performances so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='1687743' first='Rhett' last='Decker'] - Ambassador Christian - Fumble Rec TD, Interception, 2 Pass Breakups in win over N. Raleigh Christian - After primarily playing running back early in his career, Rhett has moved over to playing linebacker and looks strong as a three down player for Ambassador Christian. Rhett moves well in coverage while tackling with good fundamentals in the open field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246060' first='Caleb' last='Gordon'] - Ashbrook - Over 10 Tackles, 5 Tackles For Loss, Fumble Recovery TD in victory over Berry

[player_tooltip player_id='1543812' first='Camereon' last='Cartlidge'] - Walkertown - 13 Tackles, 3 Sacks, 2 Pass Breakups & Fumble Recovery & TD in victory over Parkland - Camereon had over 140 tackles last year, and is showing an even bigger impact this season, showing off his pass rushing ability with an impressive 3 sack performance in this one. His play has helped Walkertown look like a state championship contender in their classification so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='1678635' first='Jalaythan' last='Mayfield'] - Lincolnton - 11 Tackles, 3 Assists, Sack, 61 Rushing Yards & TD in victory over North Lincoln

[player_tooltip player_id='1153738' first='Micah' last='Bright'] - Hough - 2 Interceptions, including a Pick 6 in victory over Independence - Micah, a South Florida commit, showed that throwing the ball away from star CB [player_tooltip player_id='284097' first='Samari' last='Matthews'] is still a bad bet in the Husky secondary. His interception was a great play where Micah jumped an out-breaking route and took it all the way to the house. Micah is a player who has developed exponentially throughout his career and is having a strong season so far.

Adrian Solomon "Junior" - East Forsyth - 18 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles in victory over Northern Guilford

[player_tooltip player_id='1600424' first='Jaylen' last='King'] - Cleveland - 11 Tackles, 6 Tackles For Loss, 3 Sacks in victory over Corinth Holders

[player_tooltip player_id='1600427' first='Lathan' last='Feemster'] - Kings Mountain - 17 Tackles, 4 Tackles For Loss, 2 Sacks in victory over Burns - Lathan has been an impact player for the last couple of years for the Mountaineers, and as a senior this year, he is showing leadership in helping guide Kings Mountain to a win in a game where they may not have played their best, but they found a way to get it done. Lathan has impressive speed for his size and position, and showing he can rush the quarterback will enhance his recruiting profile.

[player_tooltip player_id='1029786' first='Griff' last='Galloway'] - Providence Day - 2 Sacks, 4 QB Hurries, 6 Tackles, also played OL in victory over Rolesville - Providence Day backed up a strong Week 1 victory over Roman Catholic in Pennsylvania with an impressive road victory. Griff is a Power 4 recruit and showed why with his dominant performance here. Griff got to the quarterback quickly on his two sacks, showing a nice combination of strength, speed, and hand usage to shed blocks. The ability to also flip over and play offensive line reflects his overall football intelligence as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='736967' first='Cohen' last='Kilgannon'] - Charlotte Christian - 22 Tackles in action vs. Charlotte Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id='1309069' first='Camdin' last='Portis'] - Myers Park - 2 Interceptions in victory over Weddington - Camdin's performance in this major victory for the Mustangs was huge because the Warriors don't lose a lot, and they especially don't lose at home in the regular season. Forcing these turnovers was a major key in the victory, and the Mustangs' defense was tied together well at all three levels. The Miami commit has showed strong in the first two games of the season, and has helped propel the Mustangs into the conversation as a contender in the 8A classification.
