2027 Rankings: Breaking Down a New Addition at Each Position

A dual threat QB he is able to beat you with his arm or from scrambling &amp; taking designed QB runs for big chunks of yardage. He's a got a nice build, and a good overall athlete being a basketball player as well. Demerius shows nice arm strength able to get it down the seam with good zip or launch it deep. Great at keeping the play alive and always keeping his eyes downfield to find the open reciever.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">After putting together a strong year I am looking forward to seeing Demerius be a top guy for Laurel as they go as he goes. In split time this past fall he put 594 yds on 9.9 YPC and 7 rushing TDs. Kodi has breakaway speed and can put on the burners once he gets in open field. He has a great mix of vision, patience and balance when carrying the ball. A guy who runs behind his pads, Kodi is not afraid of contact. He can make you miss in open field with quick hips/feet &amp; overall athleticism, or lower the shoulder and power through the tackle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Kodi is a big time playmaker and complete RB for Flowers. Kendon comes in as a top 100 overall player and the #9 overall OL and he all the potential to be a top 5 OL in his class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Big kid with a good lean frame to fill out with good bulk and solid arm length. Kendon is a physical player tough player who has nice bend and leverage. He is quick off the snap and into defenders chest, drives his leg &amp; finishes blocks. He also plays with some good aggression and nastiness to him which you always want to see from your OL. A nice athlete for his position with good feet who can move and get out in space. You can see where he gets his overall skill set as he is a multi-sport kid playing basketball &amp; a heavyweight wrestler. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kendon is a player that I can see developing into a Power 4 kid. Makai has a nice long stride with that makes it a good deep threat, getting vertical over top of the defense. Able to get off of press with a good release at the LOS, he uses his length to moss defenders and possesses a great catch radius. Effective across all 3 levels of the passing game, he can also go across the middle or take a hitch/slant to the house. Coming in as the #64 overall player and the #11 DL prospect in a loaded DL group.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Possessing nice size a 6'3+" 240 and nice overall athleticism, he can play DE in an odd front or slide inside as a rush IDL in a 4-3 defense. Tyson shows a quick first step and good burst off the snap. Good wiggle in his hips, he is able to get skinny and scrape through OL to get into the backfield. Tyson also shows good strength/leverage, able to shed blockers and hold the edge. A high motor player and a strong tackler, Tyson gets to the ballcarrier and takes them down consistently. With 79 total tackles, 9 TFLs, 3 sacks, 2 int's and 2 FF/FRs...Nate is the definition of a complete LB.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A physical downhill MLB with a motor that doesn't quit, Nate is always around the ball. He flies to the ball and lays the wood, hitting through the ball carrier. Nate has fluid hips for the position, able to drop into coverage, make a play on the ball and even take it the house for a score as he did the past season. A high IQ player, Nate is quick to identify the play and take smart angles. He is always in the right position to make the play. He is a player that I can see putting up 1st Team All State level production in the future. He is an athletic rangy FS for them and was a big time playmaker.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Able to play the center outfield role back as the over the top safety, Isaiah shows great ball skills and ability to cover lots of space. Able to get sideline to sideline to make a play on the ball in both coverage or supporting the run. Isaiah displays nice ball skills, tracking the pass and going up to high point it to get the interception. Isaiah has an impressive versatile skill set at DB which makes him a valuable player. Playing both CB and WR, Damarcus can play outside or in the slot for both positions adding to his versatility as a prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He shows real nice ball skills, tracks the pass, quick to break on the pass on D or go up and high point the ball at WR. Damarcus has oily hips, able to change direction quickly with nice twitch/wiggle. He's got playmaking ability with the ball in his hands as a WR.
