Yates made 32 total tackles (eight solo) during the 2025 season. Offensively, he led the team in receiving with 32 catches for 656 yards (20.5 yards per catch) and 10 touchdowns. That’s impressive from a production standpoint, with one touchdown catch almost every three catches. Yates received an offer from Division II school Lincoln University on June 18th. A big part of his impressive ypc. average is his ability to transition make people miss in the open field and get those extra yards after the catch. Not a burner, but he’s a smooth route runner who doesn’t go down easily after contact. Showcased the ability to complete catches despite heavy contact and traffic last season. Can easily see him catching at least 45-plus passes this season.

Isaiah was a key member of the Caravel’s defense that went on to win another State Championship this past year. He is an athletic rangy FS for them and was a big time playmaker.

Able to play the center outfield role back as the over the top safety, Isaiah shows great ball skills and ability to cover lots of space. Able to get sideline to sideline to make a play on the ball in both coverage or supporting the run. Isaiah displays nice ball skills, tracking the pass and going up to high point it to get the interception. Isaiah has an impressive versatile skill set at DB which makes him a valuable player. With nice athleticism and high football IQ, I can easily see Isaiah having an even stronger junior year as he develops his game and fills out his frame more.
