He doesn't get many tackles inside the box; most of his plays come on the outside and at the second level. In his mid-season or season-ending highlights, I'd like to see more plays of him making plays in the box and near or behind the line of scrimmage.

Tyler is lined up at safety in his highlights. The first play shows him forcing a fumble with a hard hit deep in the opponent's territory. Another play shows him blitzing off the edge and untouched as he goes to tackle the running back in the backfield. Tyler's pass coverage skills also show up. He makes back-to-back plays on the football downfield, preventing a big play. Tyler also put a couple of special-teams plays in the mix, including one where he blocks a punt. He's physical and quick to strike. Great start to the season.

Ford's current highlights show a quarterback who likes to throw outside the hashes and isn't afraid to take deep shots to his playmakers. What currently stands out is his athleticism and mobility. Ford has noticeable straight-line speed and quickness when he decides to run out of the pocket. He is explosive as a runner, and I think he'll keep using his legs as a weapon in the coming weeks. It's still early in the season, so he'll have plenty of chances to incorporate other types of throws into his film.

In his first three games of the season, Markel has made 20-plus tackles (five for a loss), forced two fumbles, and intercepted one pass. Long's physical play stands out in the first few highlights, where his hits led to a couple of interceptions and fumbles. He gives Good Counsel's defense a big advantage. Long can line up in the box and cover the slot receiver with no problem, or become that unblocked defender against the run. There are a few plays where he not only secures the edge, but he makes the tackle at or behind the line of scrimmage. He's one of the stronger tacklers at safety I've watched. He doesn't dive for ankles. Long wraps up with his head on the side and runs through

Harris is now listed at 6-foot-4 (same weight). He is long and has plenty of room to add good weight to that frame. Harris already has great immediate burst off the line of scrimmage and covers a lot of ground when chasing down quarterbacks or running backs. I'm impressed with his strength at the point of attack and ability to hold the edge and not let any plays get outside of him. Cat-like quickness for a player his size, and he has that second-gear explosion past the offensive tackle or in pursuit. He's an elite edge who closes quickly and finishes plays. Impressed with how quickly he diagnoses run and pass plays. Very instinctive
