Machari featured heavely in McNamara's offense as they took on a tough Maury (VA) squad. He had 2 rushing TDs on the day and was extremely effective as a receiver out the backfield in the passing game. Machari is a yoked up, well slapped together RB who can take it between the tackles or bounce out wide. He showcased nice burst through line with good power, running behind his pads and fighting for yards. While also showing quick feet & elusiveness in the open field. He had 2 big catches out of the backfield where he out speed defenders down the sideline, and making a great juke to leave the defender grasping at air. Overall Machari is a work horse RB with big play ability. He should have a big junior season and start getting on colleges radars.

Ja'Meire is a dual threat QB who was out there making plays with his legs & arm in Frederick's game last week. On the Cadets first possession of the game he took a QB keep 60 yds down the sideline for a TD out running the Smyrna defense. He is a long strider who is always a threat to break out of the pocket and gain big yardage. As a thrower Ja'Meire gets good zip on his passes and and over the top motion that should develop nicely. He is a tall, long, lean athlete who I think is still growing into his body so the arm strength & mechanics will develop as he does. With his size and dynamic ability as a DT-QB Ja'Meire is one to watch for the future.

Damien was a force at LT for Smyrna this past week. With good size at all of 6'4" and a lean 260lb. frame with a big wingspan, he passes the eye ball test on the field. Damien is a OL prospect who fires off the snap and is very physical at the POA. He drives and finishes, playing through the whistle while looking take defenders down the field and bury them. Damien's performance definitely caught my attention and it should be catching the eyes of FCS schools looking to fill out their OL class this fall.

Cam was the main source of offense for the Stags this past weekend in their game vs. Roman Catholic (PA). A big body RB who comes donwhill and hits the hole with power and burst. Scoring DeMatha's only TD of the game, Cam took it 28yds off the left side, using his vision to find the running lane and getting upfield. He easily shrugged off the DB would be tackler as he neared the goal line and strolled in for the score. With his size, big stride and ability to break tackles for extra yardage allow Cam to be part of a one-two punch in the backfield for DeMatha.

The Sacred Heart QB Commit made it look easy this past week and he lit it up against Frederick HS (MD). On the day Drew threw for 293 yards and 3 TDs. Drew shows a good ability to read defenses and find the open receiver for easy completions. Throwing a very catchable ball with great accuracy and placement. Looking comfortable in the pocket, even when having to extend the plays with his legs Drew would keep his eyes downfield looking to make the pass. The Eagles are poised for a strong season with Drew at the the helm and he should easily be a rankings mover in the post season update.
