Nate Damiano Nate Damiano 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Franklin | 2027 State MD landed at No. 20 among linebackers in the state. Damiano is a balanced linebacker who can defend the run and stay active in pass coverage. Whether he’s shooting gaps or taking on blocks, he finds the ball and gets into pursuit in a hurry. In the pass game, he plays well in zone, reading the quarterback and getting into his drops to position himself in passing lanes. On one of his three interceptions, he showed good speed by returning it for a touchdown. Damiano finished the season with eight tackles for loss, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and a sack. He’s a player to watch this upcoming season as a prospect who can impact a defense in multiple ways.

Nate is the MLB and leader of the Franklin defense. I was able to see him live in game a few times last fall, and he immediately stood out to me with his level of play. A strong sophomore season with 79 tackles, 9 TFLs and responsible for multiple forced turnovers. Don’t be surprised at all if Nate passes the 100 total tackles this year. A physical downhill MLB with a high motor. Nate can lay the wood, hitting through the ball carrier. He shows fluid hips for the position, able to drop into coverage and make a play on the ball.

A high IQ player, Damiano is quick to identify the play. He takes smart angles and is always in the right position to make the play. A true complete ILB and a high academic prospect as well. Expect Nate to be an all area LB this fall and be an instrumental piece of Franklin’s success in 2025.

Nate is a player I got to see live twice this past year and he stood out both times, a key piece to the Franklin HS defense. With 79 total tackles, 9 TFLs, 3 sacks, 2 int’s and 2 FF/FRs…Nate is the definition of a complete LB.

A physical downhill MLB with a motor that doesn’t quit, Nate is always around the ball. He flies to the ball and lays the wood, hitting through the ball carrier. Nate has fluid hips for the position, able to drop into coverage, make a play on the ball and even take it the house for a score as he did the past season. A high IQ player, Nate is quick to identify the play and take smart angles. He is always in the right position to make the play. He is a player that I can see putting up 1st Team All State level production in the future. Nate is the type of player every D Coordinator wants to coach and he will be a steal for whatever college program he ends up with in the future.
