Makai Richmond Makai Richmond 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Red Lion Christian (DE) | 2027 State MD is a true perimeter mismatch, standing at 6-foot-3 with long arms and natural body control, he’s the type of wide receiver who creates immediate problems for defensive backs.

His route running is polished and efficient, often gaining separation within just a step or two. On film, he showcases excellent footwork and deceptive double moves, turning double move plays into touchdowns with sudden breaks and strong hands.

After a strong stint at Elkton, Richmond has transferred to Red Lion Christian Academy in Delaware. Now with added weight on his frame and in a new system, Richmond is positioned to take his production to the next level.

With his physical tools, route precision, and upside, expect college programs to begin dialing in on Richmond as he takes the field in a new jersey, and with even more to prove.

Makai is a player I got to see live in game earlier this year when he was at Elkton HS, he has since transferred to Red Lion Christian (DE).

A big X WR at 6’3″ he made first team All-County this past year averaging 19.3 ypc and 6 receiving TDs. Makai has a nice long stride with that makes it a good deep threat, getting vertical over top of the defense. Able to get off of press with a good release at the LOS, he uses his length to moss defenders and possesses a great catch radius. Effective across all 3 levels of the passing game, he can also go across the middle or take a hitch/slant to the house. With great physical tools and skill set to match, Makai will be a name to know next fall and can develop into one of the top prospects in DE for his class.
