A true technician at defensive back Davis faced some stiff competition this year and did not budge an inch. His form and steps are perfect, he will be one of our top ranked members of the secondary position rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I counted 5 interceptions this past season and he face some of the best receivers in the state. The range he displays in his coverage skills look FBS level talented I am not kidding. Davis has a 3.3 GPA, also plays receiver and on special teams. Richey 6'1 and 260 lbs. he was a second team all district selection this past fall. Very nimble and has some power behind his blocks, he has a chance to be really special for the Tigers. When his feet are moving and his arms are extended he is a outstanding pass blocker. His run blocking is downright mean and physical which I is why I could see him playing guard at the next level. The kid has some wheels too, you can see his closing speed on each tackle he obtains in the open field. Tanner can play safety or defensive end too in my opinion, I would not be surprised if he lines up in different roles in 2025. He is a game changing back who earned First Team All District Honors. Watson is a ballhawk at free safety he can cover a lot of ground and is not afraid to play the run. He hits ball carriers with force and he never ducks his head on a tackle. Very good technique to go along with an impressive season obtaining 39 tackles with 13 of them being solo. Dowdy looks like an old school linebacker with his neck brace, he is fun to watch. A smart football player too, his coverage skills are not to be frowned upon either. A 4.0 GPA Dowdy is poised to be on many colleges radars this off-season, especially on this defense that has standouts already. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
