Max is an Edge defender who can play with his hand in the dirt or on two feet. Shows a quick first step with good lateral agility that allows him to make plays in the backfield. He does a good job at using his hands to create separation on linemen and has good bend to get around them in block shed. He has the strength to hold his ground when engaged with continual leg drive to allow himself to make a play. Good competitor with continual pursuit of the play. Also plays an H-Back role on offense showing good sustain on his blocks and the ability to run basic routes. Max is someone to watch as a possible stock riser with a good season this fall.

is a relentless tackling machine who never ever quits on a play. The kid has some wheels too, you can see his closing speed on each tackle he obtains in the open field. Tanner can play safety or defensive end too in my opinion, I would not be surprised if he lines up in different roles in 2025. He is constantly working on his craft, he should see a bump into our top 100 for the updated rankings.
