Benedictine College Sean Boyd Sean Boyd 6'2" | 280 lbs | DL Benedictine | 2027 State VA jumped up to 31st overall and 5th for this position group after his junior season saw him collect 15 sacks and a state title. Boyd is one of the stronger humans in this class, he can squat 475 lbs. with ease. An all state wrestler as well, he is a beast at defensive tackle and cannot be blocked one on one. Curious to see how his off-season goes as I can imagine many Power 4 schools would want his services.

Sean is a disruptive defensive tackle with a relentless motor on each play. He has a very good upfield burst, quickly accelerating with his first step to gain depth, and then uses his hands to engage and get past offensive linemen. He has the athleticism to track down QBs and RBs in the backfield with his lateral agility down the line of scrimmage. His strength lets him hold his gap versus the run. He has good closing speed to finish in pass rush after he rips past offensive linemen. Sean is a prospect you do not want to miss on the defensive line.

He has been playing this game for a long time and is a team first guy which is a winning combo. A star in wrestling as well, Boyd is in for a big year.
