Brown is the leading receiver for Trinity with 21 catches for 557 yards (26.5 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns in nine games. He’s also carried the football 28 times for 270 yards and eight touchdowns. Brown’s double-digit offer list includes Penn State, Duke, Georgia, Michigan, Maryland, and Tennessee. He was previously committed to Penn State but opened up his recruitment during the aftermath of then-head coach James Franklin being fired. He’s a dangerous wide receiver. Against Benedictine last week, he caught a bubble-screen pass against double-coverage, got a couple of great blocks, and took it 65-plus yards for a touchdown down the sidelines. Playmaker.

The Penn State Commit is a long, physical WR with a nose for the end zone. He plays with great aggression and physicality, at times dishing out punishment to would be tacklers. His best gift is to catch and turn upfield on slant routes. He can turn short passes into big gains very quickly and is looking to score. Everything won’t be a touchdown in the Big 10, but he can turn a little into 20-30 yards very fast. He is always looking for alleys and lanes to exploit for big gains. He can help an offense’s field position significantly. Look for a great statistical year if he stays healthy.

The third ranked 2026 prospect will be heading north to State College to play for James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Brown will surely boost what many believe is /has been the weakest position group for Franklin and company, this is a tremendous find for PSU.
Playing for the illustrious Trinity Episcopal, Brown is coming off a ridiculous junior season that saw him average over 22 yards per reception. With his committment this marks the third consecutive year where Penn State has landed a top 100 Virginia recruit. Tony Rojas,

Davion “FatRat” Brown comes in as our number 1 receiving for this class (Number 4 overall) and with good reason. All he did in his freshman season for Trinity was collect over 1100 all purpose yards and 12 touchdowns, not too bad. Brown is a star already for the Titans both in football and in basketball and should continue to soar up our rankings in years to come. Nabbing nearly 1,000 yards receiving in 2022 the rising sophomore is a big target and his stride reminds me of a young Terrell Owens. He knows how to use his length to his advantage and when he gets out into the open field look out. His recruiting is already red hot with nearly 20 FBS offers including Miami, Florida State and Penn State, you know coaches do not want to miss out on this special talent.
