I’m a bottom-line type of person. In this case, the bottom line is that Skogen has helped Trinity get to 8-1. He’s completed 64 of 105 passes for 1,193 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. The touchdown-to-interception rate could be better, but there’s only one loss on the resume for this season. Deacon does put zip on the football and can make throws all across the field. He’s mobile and throws solid passes on the move as well.

Giving Trinity Episcopal some love as I expect their offense to be both explosive and efficient. They will improve from their 5-4 record. QB Deacon Skogen Deacon Skogen 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Trinity Episcopal | 2028 VA is decisive and has good ball placement. He has 8/10 arm talent and can take advantage of athletic WRs winning matchups. Deacon shows advanced pocket presence as he goes through progressions quickly and makes smart decisions. He has great sense of timing in the pocket and will trust his deep ball more with repetitions. Great situation for Deacon, expect a big year statistically and lots of winning.

Trinity Episcopal’s Deacon Skogen Deacon Skogen 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB/ATH Trinity Episcopal | 2028 VA , a current sophomore, did incredibly well during the combine portion of our camp. Given his size, age, and experience level, I’m more than surprised to see him perform the way he did.

Skogen posted the best Shuttle and L-Drill times at his position (4.28 and 7.35 respectively). An impressive feat considering the athletes lining up beside him. Skogen would have been named Top QB tester, yet his 40-time (5.09) and Broad Jump (8’6) forced us to look elsewhere. Still an incredible effort put forth.
