About Reggie
Expert Analysis
Robert King | Prep Redzone Scout
Shows great COD, trigger, transitions well. Projects well as a D1 slot corner. Looks good in press coverage and comes up in run support. Has better length and strength than 5’10 165 lb frame. Shows good ball skills, play strength, and competitiveness. Transitions well and has hip fluidity. Competes for football against larger WRs, has good wingspan, is not overly aggressive. Shows speed and instincts covering go routes. Footwork, timing, and recovery would make him formidable on 3rd down on underneath routes. Length is concern, but shows elite AA, body control, and ball skills.

was one of this class overall biggest stock risers. Previously unranked Davis soared to our 59th overall spot and 10th for his defensive back group. His stock is coming in hot with a debut in our new 2027 class and a Division 1 offer. Davis has great instincts at corner and is tough to get separation from with his physicality. His steps and footwork are perfect, he is a master of reading the quarterbacks eyes. A second team all region selection last fall, Davis looks like a Power 4 corner.

Wide Receiver and Defensive Back prospect with solid size and a good frame. Arguably has the best film of any of our unoffered prospects in the class of 2027. We project him as a Cornerback at the next level. Very good athletic ability with very good foot quickness, hip fluidity, change of direction, lateral agility, foot speed, acceleration, good balance, and explosiveness. Very good line of scrimmage skills, with quick hands to engage receivers and push them off routes, with very good backpedal and hip fluidity to turn and run with receivers. Elite man coverage skills due to his very good use of hands, very good change of direction, and speed to run with receivers. Very good ball skills, with very good closing speed to break on the ball, with very good body control to deflect passes without drawing an interference penalty. Good leg strength and explosiveness to out-jump receivers and make a play. Good hands to make an interception with good ball carrying skills with his speed and agility to create positive yards after a pick. Good run support and open-field tackling making him a well-rounded player at the Corner position who can be depended upon. He also plays wide receiver for King’s Fork which is not shown in his season highlights. Overall, a very good prospect who is a natural shut-down Cornerback that you can put in man coverage without the need for an overtop Safety.

will be ranked in updated rankings for the 2027 class, he makes too many plays not to be. A true technician at defensive back Davis faced some stiff competition this year and did not budge an inch. His form and steps are perfect, he will be one of our top ranked members of the secondary position rankings.
I counted 5 interceptions this past season and he face some of the best receivers in the state. The range he displays in his coverage skills look FBS level talented I am not kidding. Davis has a 3.3 GPA, also plays receiver and on special teams. He wants to be on the field at all times, he is the type of kid you can build your squad around.

I featured Reggie in my Week 1 Defensive Standouts article for his performance, and we have his mid-season highlights available now. He has proven himself to be a ball-hawking play-making defensive back at King’s Fork. He plays tight coverage against WRs, and he displays very good ball skills in coverage to force pass breakups and interceptions. He is also a good tackler in the open field that you can trust.
