2025 Standout Ranked WRs Check-In (Pt. 1)

The WVU commit is going to be crucial come playoff time for the Redskins and may play his best ball of the season in November with the potential to take his play this year to a new level in the postseason. He's a twitchy player after the catch and a real danger in the open field to make defenders look silly. Abercrombie's route running looks dialed in this season and has taken the next step in that aspect of his game. He has game-breaking speed that makes him a threat to score any time the ball is in his hands. He's averaging over 21 yards per catch on 27 receptions for 585 yards and 8 touchdowns through seven games. Dinger has high-level acceleration, especially after the catch, and can break away in the open field with the best of them. His combination of length and speed makes him a complete receiver prospect who is deserving of more D1 looks. Even as a bigger-bodied athlete, Martin is just as effective after the catch and can shake defenders and outrace them to the sideline or end zone. He's a versatile receiver who can execute the full route tree and has shown evidence of that on film this season. On top of being a quality route runner, Tubbs can make plays after the catch as well with playmaking ability in space. He can stretch the field vertically and can get east and west as well.
