Hidden Gems: Unranked Seniors Spotlight (Pt. 7)

The Redskins may be having a rebuilding season, but there are still some seniors to know in their program. Connard lacks the ideal size for the position, but is worthy of some small college and Sprint Football looks. He'll have the athleticism to cover punts and can excel in that phase of the position, and he is getting reps at 15-yard snaps in high school. Boley is a great player to have in your program as someone who's going to be unselfish and give great effort in every facet. You can see that on tape as a fierce competitor who plays with high physicality and toughness. At 5'8 195, Boley is playing offensive guard and is someone who defensive linemen hate to face for four quarters. That includes 2026 WR [player_tooltip player_id='2004059' first='Keiton' last='Nester'], who keeps defenses honest as their often lone receiver out wide in their Wing-T offense. They'll get creative with Nester's speed and quickness on sweeps and counters, where he excels when getting in space. Nester also does a nice job in the return game as an explosive athlete who can get vertical in a hurry. With classmate [player_tooltip player_id='928036' first='Cameron' last='Bennett'] playing more running back this season, Poling has stepped up as their #1 target with over 500 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season. He's a long and athletic prospect with a basketball background that is worthy of D2 looks as a receiver. He has the frame that you're looking for in the position at 6'2 225 and can be developed further at the positon to be well-rounded. We'd like to see him covering punts more after the snap to gauge his athleticism, but Horton is also doing a nice job as a TE/DL as a three-phase player for the Panthers. He's doing a great job on both sides of the ball as their second option in the backfield with over 400 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns, while also being the third-leading tackler with 80 tackles, 9 TFLs and an interception. He has the length that colleges are looking for and can continue developing his body to fill it out and level up his game as a result. Perloski will also give good effort on special teams and could make an immediate impact in that phase of the game in college.
