continues to be dynamic for the Timberwolves in his senior year and is leading the team in all receiving categories.
Abercrombie has hauled in 31 receptions for 567 yards and 7 touchdowns in seven games so far this season as one of the top athletes in the state. He’s a twitchy player after the catch and a real danger in the open field to make defenders look silly. Abercrombie’s route running looks dialed in this season and has taken the next step in that aspect of his game. He has game-breaking speed that makes him a threat to score any time the ball is in his hands. Abercrombie needs more D1 looks as the regular season approaches the finish line.

who rounds out our Top 5 in the rankings. The 5’10 175 do-it-all athlete for the Timberwolves totaled over 500 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns as a junior who was utilized more as a running back but will most likely be a receiver at the next level where he still caught 20 passes for 350 yards and 4 more scores. Abercrombie is a D1 prospect with offers from Marshall and App State among others and see you why right away with the first clip in his junior highlight tape showing great body control and balance to house a jump ball with yards after the catch.
Expect Abercrombie to put up more receiving numbers in 2024 with the right personnel to get him the ball more through the air.

caused a shakeup in our 2025 Top 5 in this update as he jumps to the #5 spot. The move to inside the Top 5 was warranted after a busy past couple of months on the recruiting trail where he picked up three D1 offers including two from FBS schools in App State and Marshall. He was a stock riser in our winter update as well but clearly deserved to be even higher. Abercrombie also jumped to the #2 WR spot in the 2025 class at a position that has several prospects who likely will eventually sign with D1 schools down the road. I think Abercrombie is on the verge of receiving some potential P4 offers in the future, especially if he builds on the successful junior campaign he had in 2023 and hits the college camp circuit hard.

was a big stock riser during our last 2025 rankings update but is still not as high as he should’ve been. App State gave him his first offer in January and in-state Marshall joined them in February along with FCS Eastern Kentucky. Abercrombie is making the case to be considered a Top 10 prospect in the 2025 class and may just find himself there in the summer update. WVU seems to have their eyes on him right now too and it wouldn’t surprise me if they end up offering him down the road. If I had to bet on if he’ll end up signing with a P4 school come December or next February, I would put my money on “yes”.

could really be ranked as an ATH after rushing for 561 yards and 8 touchdowns this season along with catching 20 passes for 350 yards and 4 more scores. The Timberwolves aren’t exactly known for their passing attack though so don’t put too much stock in his receiving numbers as he would put up some big-time numbers in more pass-happy systems. Abercrombie has next-level speed and D1 athleticism and I expect he’ll be a D1 prospect in the near future. He’s a playmaker with the ball in his hands so it’s no surprise why Spring Valley handed it off to him more than they threw it to him this season. The 5’10 175 junior is a threat to score any time he touches the ball and I expect him to play receiver in college. Abercrombie ranks 23rd overall and the #3 receiver in the 2025 class.
