Braeden Booth Braeden Booth 5'11" | 195 lbs | EDGE Spring Valley | 2025 State WV flipped over to our new EDGE position in the rankings where he ranks as the #3 prospect at that spot after showing great pass rush ability this season at OLB. Given his size and athleticism, Booth could still play a traditional OLB role in college but his skillset as a pass rusher was notable on film. He’s very quick off the edge and can get to the quarterback quickly if there isn’t a TE aligned to his side of the field. Being a shorter athlete compared to some other EDGE rushers benefits his ability to duck under offensive tackles and race by them. He can also change direction quickly mid-rush and can set contain well from the edge as well. Booth has yet to post an offer on social media but D2 programs should be taking a close look at him.

2025 Spring Valley LB Braeden Booth Braeden Booth 5'11" | 195 lbs | EDGE Spring Valley | 2025 State WV has leveled up his game in his senior year and is playing the best ball of his career.
Added size in the off-season has greatly benefitted his game and has taken his play to the next level. Booth is having a stock-rising season for the Timberwolves and has totaled 40 tackles in 8 games at OLB. He’s very quick off the edge and can close down on quarterbacks and running backs away from his play side. Booth’s athleticism allows him to play in coverage as well, and he can further expand that part of his game in college. He has very good pursuit speed and plays with high effort in tracking the ball down while also being able to affect opposing quarterbacks’ throws. Even without elite length, D2 programs should be keeping close tabs on Booth as he awaits his first offer.

2025 Spring Valley LB Braeden Booth Braeden Booth 5'11" | 195 lbs | EDGE Spring Valley | 2025 State WV has put on great size over the off-season and is up 20 pounds since his junior year which has raised his potential as a prospect mightily. Size was the biggest trait that he needed to work on to elevate his potential as a college prospect and he’s put in the work to get there which is great to see. His play on the field last season warranted some college looks as he led the team in tackles and TFLs. Booth is an aggressive outside linebacker who crashes the edge well and has the quickness off the end to create havoc behind the line of scrimmage. He also has the athleticism to make plays in space and in coverage when needed.
The added size should allow him to have an even better senior season with college offers sure to roll in.
