Another small college prospect for Spring Valley that D3 programs need to know is 2025 TE/FB/LB Will McClure Will McClure 6'1" | 170 lbs | LB/TE Spring Valley | 2025 State WV . He’s an unselfish player who was mostly utilized as a blocking FB/H-Back as a junior but has the athleticism to expand his role more this season and at the next level. Size will be the biggest aspect of his game that can be improved to maximize his potential as a prospect and has the frame to add significant weight in the future.
He’ll be a good role player again this season for the Timberwolves and provide depth in the backfield.

Spring Valley’s Will McClure Will McClure 6'1" | 170 lbs | LB/TE Spring Valley | 2025 State WV is a bit of a TE/FB/H-Back hybrid type of player but will remain on our Watch List as a TE for now. He’s a bit unconventional for the position at his 6’1 170 size but is a blocker first in their offense and doesn’t lack any toughness at a smaller size. I expect his role to increase more during his senior year as the Timberwolves typically display a great running game in their style of offense. McClure’s unselfish nature was also on display on special teams in 2023 and is someone willing to do his part in that part of the game as well as a blocker and on coverage units. Although McClure was primarily a blocker last season, he has the athleticism to be able to tote the rock too, and could see more carries next season. He’ll also see snaps at linebacker, and if he has film at that position next season, he may be moved there in our rankings. If McLure can keep adding size he has a chance to play FB/TE at the next level as he has the other traits that you’re looking for in those positions.
