More than anything, the unexpected varsity reps accelerated his development and gave him a foundation to build on heading into his senior year. With a full offseason to refine the details of the position and grow more comfortable commanding the offense, Lovejoy has a chance to turn that experience into a much bigger impact in his final season.

He’s also added over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground as a versatile athlete who will benefit from this unexpected experience this season.
