have teamed up this season to be quite possibly the top receiver duo in the state this season through 8 weeks. He’s averaging over 21 yards per catch on 27 receptions for 585 yards and 8 touchdowns through seven games. Dinger has high-level acceleration, especially after the catch, and can break away in the open field with the best of them. Natural ball skills have been one of his strongest traits during his high school career, and Dinger just has an innate playmaking ability that he was gifted with.

who had as good of a junior campaign as you can have in all phases of the game. He tallied 1,200 yards of offense and 11 touchdowns in 2023 while pacing his scoring mark with 11 interceptions on defense. Dinger is lethal from the slot and a natural playmaker on both sides of the ball with innate ability. He’s a fluid athlete who is impressive before and after the catch with crisp route running and electric YAC ability.
Dinger will be on the Moss and Lee Award shortlist heading into the 2024 season and could put up more video game numbers as a senior.

is another WR who has steadily climbed in the 2025 rankings and is now inching closer to the Top 20. D1 FCS Morehead State extended Dinger his first D1 offer in January as the 2025 class begins to take shape and separates with which prospects are D1-level. Size will always be a question for some college programs regarding Dinger, but he’s more than proved over his career that he can play at that level of football. He has all of the other tools you want in a slot receiver and capped off a monster junior campaign with a state championship. The Polar Bears will have plenty of attention on them in 2024 with some big transfer additions and a great group returning from 2023 to make a run for back-to-back championships which could benefit Dinger’s recruitment even further. announcing he’ll be transferring to Fairmont Senior for his senior year, he and Dinger have a good argument for being the best WR duo in the state next season.

It’d be hard to find many more productive players in West Virginia on both sides of the ball than Fairmont Senior WR/DB

was in 2023. Dinger tallied 55 catches for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns on offense while leading the state in interceptions with 11. The early favorite for best hands in the 2025 class is Dinger who made some of the more impressive catches I saw this season. He has tremendous body control when going up for a catch and has great timing on his jumps when high-pointing the ball. Dinger can make highlight acrobatic catches in traffic and makes tough contested catches look like routine plays. It’s even more impressive that he’s doing so at 5’9 165 and size is the only thing hurting him. Dinger makes up for it with great speed and quickness and has a very quick burst. He’s a clutch performer who makes the big play when you need him to and is as reliable and consistent as they come. Dinger is also a technician when running routes with great separation ability that seems to always be open.

has been special this season for the Polar Bears on both sides of the ball as a receiver and defensive back. Dinger has totaled 1,154 receiving and 10 touchdowns while adding a staggering 11 interceptions on defense from his corner position. I would have to imagine that 11 interceptions this season would make him the season leader in West Virginia and he has the opportunity to increase that number this Friday in the championship game. At 5’9 165, Dinger isn’t the biggest athlete but man is he dynamic. He’s just an all-around natural athlete and playmaker which is apparent on both sides of the ball. Dinger has natural instincts for the game that you’re either born with or you aren’t which likely explains why he’s always around the ball and putting himself in a position to make plays.

has been a big play threat all season for the Polar Bears. Dinger has made a big impact on offense and defense and could play on either side at the next level. Dinger was averaging over 30 yards per catch through the first few games of the season and has now caught 19 passes for 409 yards and two touchdowns through five games. Dinger also had a three-interception performance against Class AAA Preston three weeks ago and is an all-around good athlete. At 5’9 165, Dinger is your prototypical quick and shifty slot receiver but what really stood out on his midseason film was his sure hands. For a smaller receiver, he can really go up and high-point the ball and make tough contested catches. Dinger uses his hands and not his body to secure catches and he’s a very consistent pass catcher on both sides of the ball.
