The touch and velocity on his passes look improved from last season and he even flashed the arm strength on a deep ball hitting his man perfectly in stride. He’ll be in contention for some post-season awards if he continues this level of play.

Whitehair totaled 3,300 yards and scored 43 touchdowns in 2023 as a true dual-threat quarterback showcasing he can beat you with his arm or his legs. His raw athleticism alone should garner him D1 interest with a 4.4 40, 4.3 shuttle, and a 9-foot broad jump. We could see Whitehair being an ATH prospect with the athletic versatility to play receiver or defensive back at the next level depending on where colleges like him the best at. He’s a great improviser under center with innate scrambling and play-extending ability that makes him a nightmare to defend for opposing teams. Whitehair throws well on the run on designed rollouts or scrambles but can also stand firm in the pocket and deliver a strike as well. His footwork in the pocket is sound and puts him in a position to step into his throws or take off and run. Whitehair can execute a read option and RPO offense very well and is an accurate passer inside of 20 yards.

He can further develop as a passer over the off-season and during his senior season, but Whitehair’s upside and athletic ability should make him an enticing prospect at the FCS level.
