This long and athletic prospect made the over 5 hour drive down to Charlotte from West Virginia, and it was a trip that was very worthwhile for him. I did a short interview with him, and he told me his strength was pass protection, and he showed that consistently throughout the 1 on 1 period against defensive linemen. Tyson is definitely every bit of the 6’5 he’s listed at, and he’s got very long arms he uses well to keep edge players from getting into his body at his tackle position. I also like his footwork, as he was able to stay in front of some fast kids pass rushing off of the edge. As I write this, Tyson was offered by UNC Pembroke from seeing him at the MEGA Showcase!

Tyson White has put in the work over time, and it shows in how his game has come along. The Fairmont Senior 2027 OL sits inside the top 15 for the position in his class and continues to trend in the right direction. He moves well for his size and looks comfortable out at tackle, which should translate well in 1-on-1s. The next step for him is matching physicality with his standout athleticism, which we hope to see on May 17th. With his senior season around the corner, this is an important off-season for White, and this camp gives him a good stage to show how far he’s come and where he’s headed.

made the move from Bridgeport for his junior season and emerged at tackle for the Polar Bears this season. He’s made significant strides as a player since he first appeared on our radar at a camp during his sophomore year, and he looks like a completely different player a year later. White has athletic upside that you can see in his footwork and kick steps in pass protection to pair with his 6’4 frame that will allow him to continue developing into a top OL prospect in the class.
