Wilson has a good build for an every-down running back and has shown natural ability for the position while still being relatively new to the game. He’s explosive out of the backfield and has the build to be a versatile power runner who can also break loose in the open field. D2 programs should be taking a closer look at Wilson’s film and is an offer-worthy candidate at that level.

Wilson has the perfect running back body type and is a very good athlete coming into his own in just his second year in the football program. He’s an explosive athlete who can get to top speed quickly and a good burst. Wilson is a natural ball carrier with the innate ability to be a smooth runner.

He’ll be challenged more as the season goes on and the competition stiffens, but Wilson is a running back that colleges should be following closely with a bigger role this season.

Wilson flashed all of the makings of a college running back with further development and is a prospect worth looking into for D2 programs.

He showed natural ability as a first-year player in 2023 and should take a big step forward in 2024 as a senior and second-year in the program.
