Every Monday throughout the season, we kick off the week by looking at the ten best games across the state of Oklahoma. And because we have a hard time following our own rules, we have five bonus games in addition to the ten best games. Week four will bring the beginning of district play across Oklahoma. Games will start counting towards playoff seeding. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma every day this week and throughout the season for the best coverage of Oklahoma high school football. Later this week, we'll also take a look at the Moore Lions as they prepare for a match-up of unbeaten teams against Mustang. We'll put a more in-depth spotlight on arguably the best game of the week between Bixby and Jenks. And we'll finish off the week by taking a look at the players to watch this week as well as our latest installment of the Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year Watchlist! For now, here's a breakdown on this week's top games across Oklahoma!

#9 BROKEN ARROW (1-2) AT #1 OWASSO (3-0)

Top-ranked Owasso will host #9 Broken Arrow on Friday night and both teams are ready to get back on the field after having week three off. Both teams tested themselves against tough non-district schedules and the Rams have emerged as the team to beat in 6A-1. Broken Arrow is ready to get back on the field after back to back losses. The quarterbacks in this match-up have already emerged as potential breakout players this season. Broken Arrow junior signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='402376' first='Jeramiah' last='Ssettimba'] is off to a great start but he'll face his toughest challenge against Owasso's defense. Owasso sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1235926' first='Drew' last='Frankenfield'] has exceeded all preseason expectations and didn't look like a sophomore making his first ever starts against Bixby and Jenks.

#8 CLINTON (3-0) AT #7 WEATHERFORD (2-1)

The first of several marquee match-ups in Class 4A will take place in western Oklahoma as #7 Weatherford will host #8 Clinton. These two programs are very familiar with one another and they'll renew their district rivalry on Friday night. Weatherford comes into this week looking to bounce back after suffering a tough loss to Pauls Valley in week three. Clinton is unbeaten but there won't be any easing into district play as this game could provide the difference between hosting a playoff game or going on the road. Weatherford is headlined by Oklahoma commit [player_tooltip player_id='353421' first='CJ' last='Nickson'] while Clinton has a two-headed monster at running back to look out for and it's led by [player_tooltip player_id='1088882' first='Kyn'Tavion' last='Hill'] and Clinton will look to replicate what Pauls Valley did last week in the run game.

#5 DEL CITY (2-1) AT #2 COLLINSVILLE (3-0)

It's the game of the week in Class 5A and we'll be in the house as #2 Collinsville hosts #5 Del City in a match-up that could very well decide the district championship. It's only week four and we're not even into October but it's hard to imagine the playoffs where neither of these two are the district champion. The Cardinals have been absolutely dominant to start the season. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1018641' first='Scott' last='Rigby'] is off to a fast start, averaging around 175 yards per game and has eight touchdowns in three games. Del City has bounced back from a week zero loss to Edmond Memorial and looked great last week in a rivalry win over Midwest City. Now, the Eagles look to slow down a Collinsville offense that is incredibly balanced and have been productive each week.

#9 HOLLAND HALL (2-1) AT #8 IDABEL (2-1) (THURS.)

Way down in southeastern Oklahoma, we'll see the first of two 3A showdowns on Thursday night as #8 Idabel will host #9 Holland Hall. Both teams suffered a loss in non-district play but both teams have also looked good at times in other games. For Idabel, they are coming off a shutout win over Ashdown, Arkansas. They're led by a pair of seniors that are both committed to D1 programs with running back [player_tooltip player_id='211234' first='Ravian' last='Larry'] (Utah State) and [player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] (Oklahoma State and both could take over a game. Holland Hall is relatively young but they've already shown that they have the talent to contend with some of the other top ten teams in Class 3A. When it comes to this district in particular, the winner of this contest could get a home playoff game.

#4 JENKS (1-2) AT #2 BIXBY (2-1)

It wasn't that long ago that this week four clash looked like the potential game of the year. Now, #2 Bixby and #4 Jenks come into this week with a combined record of 3-3. Not many (if any) had that prediction prior to the season. The Spartans have bounced back from the week zero loss to Owasso but this game against Jenks will be a tough test for a relatively young team. Jenks has plenty of talent everywhere but the Trojans have lost their last two games, including a rivalry loss to Union where their offense was held out of the end zone. Despite all of that, these are still two of the best teams in Class 6A-1 and more than likely, the district championship will be decided in this week four clash. We'll take a more in-depth look at the teams and their top players on Wednesday.

#10 MOORE (3-0) AT #5 MUSTANG (3-0)

Based on the records, this should be the game of the week in Class 6A-1 as #5 Mustang will host #10 Moore and both teams come into this week with unbeaten records. The Broncos have had back to back tests after they beat Broken Arrow in overtime and then they had to rally in the second half to beat Westmoore. Moore is off to a 3-0 start for the fourth consecutive season but they are looking to end a trend where they start 3-0 but miss out on the playoffs. A win here on the road would definitely put them in a good position moving forward. Mustang senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='998363' first='Trajan' last='Williamson'] is off to a great start this season and the Lions are going to counter with a very strong rushing attack. Over the first few games, the Lions have had multiple guys stand out at running back.

#7 NORTH ROCK CREEK (2-1) AT #2 HERITAGE HALL (2-1) (THURS.)

The other 3A showdown on Thursday night will take place in Oklahoma City as #2 Heritage Hall will host #7 North Rock Creek. This year, it's a district match-up to kick off the district slate. Last year, these two teams met in the first round and the Chargers took care of business but this is a North Rock Creek squad that is definitely improved. They are coming off a tough loss to Holdenville and look to bounce back behind senior [player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] who is one of the top players in Oklahoma. For Heritage Hall, the Chargers have been on a roll since a season-opening loss to Lincoln Christian. Last week, they survived on the road against Millwood. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] has gotten off to a fast start and performed well in the win over the Falcons last week.

#6 PERRY (2-1) AT #3 JONES (2-1)

It's the top match-up in Class 2A-1 this week as #3 Jones will host #6 Perry on Friday night. This is arguably the best district in Class 2A-1 and each week will have a little more pressure in this one because wins will be so important. Both teams are coming off a bye week in week three and the Longhorns are definitely ready to get back on the field after losing to Bethany in week two in the final minutes. This is definitely an intriguing match-up to watch because you have a Jones offense that is led by junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1179996' first='Acyn' last='Hansen'] and he is well on his way to a breakout season. And on the other side, Perry will counter with two-way star [player_tooltip player_id='1288788' first='Whelan' last='Carson'] at the wide receiver and linebacker positions. He's their top target on offense and leading tackler on defense.

#2 WAGONER (3-0) AT #10 FORT GIBSON (3-0)

Another marquee game in Class 4A will see #2 Wagoner hit the road to face #10 Fort Gibson to open up district play. Simply put, the Bulldogs have been dominant so far this season. And they come into district play as not only the favorite in this district but one of the favorites in Class 4A. Senior quarterback and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] is playing great football right now, having put up some monster numbers in the last two weeks. He's thrown for six touchdowns and run for six touchdowns in the last two weeks alone. Fort Gibson is off to a great start as well, picking up some big wins and jumping out to a 3-0 start. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1160815' first='Judd' last='Rudd'] had a strong showing on both sides of the ball but there is no doubt that this will be their toughest test of the year.

#10 WYANDOTTE (3-0) AT #4 COLCORD (3-0)

In Class 2A-2, we'll see our only ranked match-up in that class as #4 Colcord will host #10 Wyandotte. The Bears joined the top top ten rankings over the weekend and junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1169618' first='Hunter' last='White'] has picked up where he left off last season as a dual-threat quarterback that can absolutely take over a game. But there is no doubt that this week four game with Colcord will be their toughest game of the early season. And this is a district that is absolutely loaded so each week will be so important. Colcord has been a top five squad from the start of the season and they are led by a defense that completely shut down an opponent. This will be a clash of styles between Colcord's stingy defense and Wyandotte's high-scoring offense.

FIVE MORE GAMES TO WATCH

#9 CHISHOLM (2-1) AT #8 OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (3-0)

Don't overlook this 2A-1 match-up as #8 Oklahoma Christian School will host #9 Chisholm in a big district opener. Despite losing a four-year starter at quarterback, the Saints are rolling offensively and are off to a solid 3-0 start. Chisholm dropped their season opener to #4 Metro Christian but they've looked solid in their last two games. Both teams come into district play after a bye week in week three.

#3 CHOCTAW (1-2) AT #6 PIEDMONT (2-1)

It might be a quiet week in Class 6A-2 with the exception of this district opener which will see #3 Choctaw go on the road to face #6 Piedmont. Choctaw is looking to bounce back after two tough losses to state champions from Kansas and Oklahoma while Piedmont suffered their first loss of the season last week to 6A-1's Norman. Neither team can avoid a loss here as that will put them in a bad spot in the district standings.

#10 KIEFER (1-2) AT #5 KINGSTON (2-1)

Another 2A-1 match-up to keep an eye on will see #5 Kingston hosting #10 Kiefer. The Trojans come into this game after avoiding an 0-3 start against a brutal non-district schedule. That should get them ready for what should be a very competitive district. Kingston has looked really good so far this season, with the only loss coming back in week one to Class A powerhouse Fairview in the final minute.

#9 TAHLEQUAH (2-1) AT #7 CLAREMORE (3-0)

All eyes in Class 5A might be on Collinsville-Del City but don't overlook this match-up as #7 Claremore will host #9 Tahlequah. The Zebras continue to move up our Class 5A rankings and at some point, we'll just have to admit that we were dead wrong about them. We thought they might take a step back after a semifinal appearance last year and they haven't. Tahlequah returns to the field after a bye week and they're hungry for a win.

#10 WATLERS (3-0) AT #6 CHRISTIAN HERITAGE (1-2)

In Class A-1, the game of the week will see #6 Christian Heritage hosting #10 Walters. The Crusaders are still relatively high in the rankings despite two losses because they came to 2A-1 #8 OCS and last week to #4 Rejoice Christian. On the other side, you have #10 Walters off to a great start at 3-0 and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1507676' first='BJ' last='Palmer'] is quickly becoming a name to get familiar with moving forward.
