Continue ReadingCurrently ranked inside the PRZPA Top300 (2025). Ranked as a top 15 QB as well, despite Henning playing sparingly over the last three years. Outside media, people not in the know, they will be surprised to see how advanced and far along Henning is without seeing much tick on SJP’s A-Team. Thankfully, I’m well aware of all things Tre Henning Tre Henning 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA . I’m aware of the attention to detail he works with, I’m aware of the cerebral and serious approach he brings to all things quarterbacking. There isn’t anything Henning can do at this event to surprise me. There’s a good chance Henning, with the help of some stud wideouts at his disposal, outperforms every quarterback at this event. Said event will represent nine different states. A great performance here will start Henning on a path that leads to a high placement on our board. Each time I see the young man work, he looks a bit more comfortable, a bit more relaxed and confident, we’ll see if that holds true this weekend.
I’m caught up on all things SJP. I attend JV games when I can, I see many of the underclassmen come through our camp, I’m plugged in with a few coaches who keep me updated on names to know, on top of me attending games in the Fall. One prospect has alluded me, that’s Kendall Jackson Kendall Jackson QB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2027 PA . I’ve heard nothing but good things about this freshman passer, an underclassman I’ll be holding under a microscope this weekend. Jackson is almost a complete unknown at the moment, I want to shed as much positive light on his game as I possibly can. The post-event piece on Jackson will hit a lot harder than the pre-event piece you’re reading now. Excited to learn a thing or two after Saturday’s pool play.
St. Joseph’s Prep’s Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA is likely to eat up the field on Saturday and Sunday. I hope no DB downplays this young man’s skillset. A wideout who pays much attention to the nuances of getting open early, as well as late. The type of wideout who can get open in a phone booth, Turner, along with teammate Jamir Rowe Jamir Rowe 5’11” | 185 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA , is a sure bet to place in terms of catches/scoring. Combo a T&F participant with a playmaker who has something to prove, I’m fully expecting Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA to turn heads, especially heads who might not know any better. Turner has a lot to prove this Fall, he’s a natural competitor so expect that chip on his shoulder to extend to an event like this. Excited to see him perform.
If not Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA , expect Jamir Rowe Jamir Rowe 5’11” | 185 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA to dominate competition as well. A legitimate Division One prospect, what’s more exciting than anything he potentially does at this event, are some of the testing numbers he’s been cooking up while labbing all off-season. Rowe already flashed next-level athleticism, yet he and the SJP coaching staff might be prepared to hit a new stride in terms of development. 41-inch vert, 10 1/2″ BJ, sub 4.5 40, all shown on Twitter for the world to see. Rowe is going to apply all of this explosion/athleticism when on the field this coming Fall. I’ll be pleased if we can see him at at least 50%, likely a top 100 player.

Watching freshman Brandon Lockley Jr. in pads will infinitely outweigh anything we see him do in a 7v7 setting. I project Lockley to blossom into one of the more coveted prospects in all of Pennsylvania, in due time at least. None of that comes without off-season development, you can make the case that there will be development to be had at this event this weekend, especially if Lockley is stationed at safety. Lockley is likely to transition to LB (my opinion) sooner rather than later, but seeing how he keeps up from a range perspective should tell me things about how he’s maturing athletically. Will be a pleasure to see this young man work either way. The type of prospect local media should be out to see.
Highlights
The DB to watch when eyes are on Wingmen Crimson. Ranked as the seventh-best DB prospect in his class, Simaj Hill Simaj Hill 6’1″ | 170 lbs | DB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2026 State PA is going to be tasked with locking down some seriously talented wideouts coming from OH, FLA, and NJ/NE. Luckily, Hill has all the tools necessary to keep up with burners downfield, as well as the competitive/physical nature necessary to match up with some of the bigger targets he might be tasked with covering. Ryan McDonald Ryan McDonald 6’0″ | 180 lbs | DB St. Josephs Preparatory | 2025 State PA and Masiia Acrey Masiia Acrey 5’10” | 165 lbs | ATH St. Joseph’s Prep | 2027 State PA are stationed on Wingmen Grey, so my eyes will be dead set on Hill when Crimson is up to bat, I want to sing his praises after each day.

Both junior Seth Slater Seth Slater 6’0″ | 185 lbs | RB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA and sophomore Khyan Billups Khyan Billups 5’8″ | 165 lbs | RB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2026 State PA are likely to station at running back beside Kendall and Tre at this event. That isn’t to take either likely, both are being trusted to catch balls out of the backfield, both can provide some open-field wiggle that can embarrass DBs/LBs who aren’t prepared. Rowe and Turner are likely to see the bulk of balls, yet watch for Billups and Slater forcing defenses to account for every area of the field.

The story told on Lockley I can tell for Louie Amiano Louie Amiano 6’0″ | 215 lbs | LB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2026 State PA . Amiano can reel in four interceptions on the day from his linebacker spot, it won’t do his padded game any justice. The best Louie Amiano Louie Amiano 6’0″ | 215 lbs | LB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2026 State PA you’ll see will be on Fridays and Saturdays in the Fall. Received an early West Virginia offer after speaking to Offensive Coordinator Chad Scott. Currently ranked as the fourth-best backer in his class, a young man who possesses all the ability to take the one spot at some point down the line. His body transformation is worth noting. Every backer should be in the weight room working on bulking in the right places, yet Amiano is shredded beyond his years. He can afford to miss a few weight room days. More than anything, I’m excited to see how he communicates and moves whether it be zone/man We at PRZ will be happy to have him either way.
