The 7v7 circuit is coming to a close this offseason and we’ve seen a lot of really good football over the last few months. From our PRZ7v7 circuit to others, we got to see some great competition and players from all over the state. This week on Prep Redzone Oklahoma, we’ll be taking a look at some of the top players that we got a chance to watch and break down this offseason. From your typical positional breakdowns to other categories like stock risers, breakout players & more.
In this post, we’re taking a look at the breakout players from this offseason. These five players came into this offseason as somewhat unknowns to us but left as prospects to watch moving forward. These five prospects all brought something different to the table and all five were also outstanding playmakers at various times this offseason.
Cetcher DeHart Cetcher DeHart 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR Bixby | 2026 State OK – 2026 WR – Bixby (Played With Sooner 7 & Southtown Band1ts)
Our first breakout player this offseason is Bixby 2026 wide receiver Cetcher DeHart Cetcher DeHart 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR Bixby | 2026 State OK after he split the offseason between playing for Sooner 7 and his high school team called the Southtown Band1ts. DeHart first got on our radar during the offseason last year on the 7v7 circuit and he has taken another step forward as a wide receiver. And as Bixby looks to find some new wide receivers to step up this fall, don’t be surprised if DeHart ends up being one of those guys. DeHart is your typical slot receiver where he’s going to be an absolute pain to deal with defensively. One thing that really stood out to us this offseason was his ability to get open. His quickness and overall speed really allows him to create natural separation.
Isaac Sheffield Isaac Sheffield 6'3" | WR Grove | 2026 State OK – 2026 WR – Grove (Played With Sooner 7)
Another 2026 wide receiver that enjoyed a breakout offseason was Grove’s Isaac Sheffield Isaac Sheffield 6'3" | WR Grove | 2026 State OK after playing for Sooner 7 this offseason. During our tournament in the first weekend in March, Sheffield immediately caught our attention with his play during pool play on Saturday. Sheffield has a lot of potential already and he’s going to be a name to keep an eye on moving forward. Just like DeHart, Sheffield showcased some very strong hands and a unique ability to simply get open. The Grove product had to work for everything he got this offseason and we think he’s primed for big things this summer and fall. Sheffield was on our radar prior to this offseason but after watching him in person, he’s a receiver on the rise.
Jarek Watie Jarek Watie 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR Union Highschool | 2025 OK – 2025 WR – Union (Played With 918 Elite)
Union 2025 wide receiver Jarek Watie Jarek Watie 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR Union Highschool | 2025 OK is the perfect example of a prospect that came into the offseason as somewhat of an unknown and now has the chance to be a breakout player this fall. Union is looking to replace the majority of their production from the wide receiver position and Watie is in a position to fill one of those roles. Watie is an absolute track star and that speed was evident during one of the tournaments we watched in March. While playing with 918 Elite, Watie was an absolute star. He’s rangy and was an absolute blur after the catch. On one play in particular, he caught a simple five yard out route on the sideline and simply turned on the jets and nobody could touch him. Watie is having a great offseason.
Keynan Farley Keynan Farley 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Booker T Washington | 2026 State OK – 2026 WR – Booker T Washington (Played With TheUNIT Platinum)
Before this offseason, we didn’t know much of anything about Booker T Washington 2026 wide receiver Keynan Farley Keynan Farley 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Booker T Washington | 2026 State OK and that quickly changed. In the first tournament we covered, the early February tourney at Union, Farley immediately caught our eye. And that was just the beginning for him. He would take away MVP honors for the 18U championship game at our tournament and was dominant almost every time we saw him the rest of the offseason. The first thing that stands out about Farley’s game is easy and it’s his size. Farley is long and is already built. When you add in the skillset of him high-pointing the ball when it’s in the air, you have a dangerous receiver moving forward. Farley is definitely a name to watch in the 2026 class.
Payton Lang Payton Lang 5'8" | 165 lbs | QB Muskogee | 2027 OK – 2027 QB – Muskogee (Played With Sooner 7)
Our final prospect on this breakdown is the only freshman with Muskogee 2027 quarterback Payton Lang Payton Lang 5'8" | 165 lbs | QB Muskogee | 2027 OK rounding out this article. The Roughers already have arguably the best quarterback in the state returning this fall so Lang will have to wait his turn. But once Lang takes over as QB1, he is going to be one of the better quarterbacks in the state’s 2027 class. Lang was outstanding each time we got a chance to see him this offseason. Lang also turned around and was an overall athlete and played some defensive back. Lang already has a unique skillset and whenever he gets on the field, he’s going to be a game changer. We might not see him much this fall but be sure to remember his name moving forward.
