was making the move from Muskogee to Broken Arrow and he ended up being one of the top targets in their passing game in 2025. Lang started his career as the ultimate swiss army knife, where you could put him just about anywhere and he would find a way to make an impact. During his junior season, he settled in at the wide receiver position and found a lot of success. Lang is definitely in the category of reliable pass catchers, where you know what you’re going to get from him game in and game out. This offseason, college coaches have taken notice and his recruitment has started to take off.

has been a versatile athlete that we’ve liked for a little over a year now. When Lang started his high school career at Muskogee, he was known more as a quarterback. But the Roughers had the best quarterback in the state so Lang helped in other ways. This offseason, he moved to Broken Arrow and continued to be that versatile weapon that could be moved around and has been a major impact player for the Tigers this fall. There’s no other way to put it. We like Lang’s game a lot and he’s pretty underrated in the state’s 2027 class. He’s a prospect that is going to be able to help out his future team wherever they need him.

is on our shortlist of 2027 prospects we’re fired up to see this fall. Lang moved to BA from Muskogee and while at the start of his high school career, he was a quarterback, it’s clear that he’s an incredibly talented athlete. So when he takes the field for Broken Arrow this fall, we could end up seeing Lang in a variety of positions but no matter where he lines up, he’s a player that could have a significant impact on the game. And we’ve already gone on the record multiple times since January that we think Broken Arrow is about to bounce back in a major way. They have young talent everywhere and Lang is part of that group. He’s another 2027 prospect who’s stock continues to climb in our opinion.

is one of the toughest prospects to rank and evaluate in the state’s 2027 class. On one hand, we think that he has a very high ceiling and every time we’ve seen him in person, he’s performed at a high level. On the other hand, he’s sitting behind arguably the best quarterback in Oklahoma and hasn’t had as much playing time as other top quarterbacks. But we’re going off of what we’ve seen and we think that Lang is definitely going to be a name to know moving forward. He’s patiently waiting for his opportunity to shine at QB. And it’s clear that he’s a terrific athlete because he’s helped the Roughers at other positions this fall.

When you’re talking about some of the younger classes, some prospects are outstanding but they just haven’t gotten a chance to show it yet on Friday nights. Muskogee signal caller

is one of those guys and it’s pretty simple. He’s a back up to arguably the best quarterback in the state. So he’s waiting his turn with the Roughers but we got a good chance to watch him this offseason while playing 7v7 and then a little at team camp and he definitely looks the part. And if you ask Muskogee’s coaches, the Roughers will be just fine on offense when it’s finally time for him to take over at QB1.

is in a similar position to Union’s Delgado. He’s behind one of the best quarterbacks in the state’s 2025 class so he’s going to have to wait his turn. But just like Delgado, we’ve been really impressed with his play over the last few weeks in 7v7 tournaments. Lang helped lead his Sooner 7 14U team to another championship game and while they fell short, he still performed very well. Lang can absolutely sling the ball all over the field. But one thing that also stood out to us was Lang turning around and playing some defensive back. He’s an outstanding athlete and he appears to be the guy after Ficklin graduates. It looks like Muskogee is in good hands.

Muskogee has arguably the best quarterback in the state but they also have a freshman coming up so the Roughers aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

is going to be a quarterback to watch whenever Ficklin graduates and moves on to the D1 level. Lang already has a lot of people around the Rougher football program excited about his potential to take over the offense and keep it rolling.

is a QB that has one of the best junior quarterbacks in the state above him on the depth chart. But everything we’ve seen of Lang (in limited samples) has been incredibly dynamic. From his speed on the track to his arm talent in various camps and 7v7 tournaments, Lang appears to be a special combination of speed and arm talent. Like every 2027 prospect, it’s incredibly early, but Lang has the makings of a special dual-threat quarterback in the future. But with Ficklin at QB1 for Muskogee, Lang will have to wait his turn.
