would also announce an upcoming move to BA. Stanford has been one of the best overall players in the state since his freshman year. Now, he joins a Broken Arrow defense and if the Tigers need him at any point, he has the potential to be a game-changing athlete on the offensive side of the ball. Stanford was our Freshman Of The Year selection following the 2023 season and he’s only continued to develop in the last year. He’s had a stranglehold on the number 1 position for the state’s 2027 class and shows no signs of letting that go. He was certainly a big addition for Broken Arrow.

is continuing to have a stranglehold on the top spot in the state’s 2027 class. Stanford has been that guy since his freshman season and only continues to improve in every aspect of the game. Athletically speaking, Stanford moves different than almost every player in the state at his position. Everything looks so simple for the new Broken Arrow Tigers. Then you throw in the on-field IQ that coaches have been raving about since he was a freshman. Add all of those things together and you have a player that is simply (as the kids would say) different. He’s a unique talent that can impact the game in so many different ways. This offseason, he moved over to Broken Arrow and immediately gave the Tigers a boost.

has had an absolute stranglehold on the top overall spot in the state’s 2027 class since we started ranking this group a little over a year ago. Stanford is not only the top DB but he’s the top overall prospect and shows no signs of giving up that position anytime soon. First off, Stanford immediately fit right in as a freshman on the Jenks defense because of his advanced knowledge of the game. Fast forward to now and you have a prospect that still has that advanced knowledge but he also passes every eye test available for that position group. He looks like an elite prospect, moves like an elite prospect and has the IQ of an elite prospect. Put all of that together and it’s clear that Stanford is the elite of the elite.

has been considered by us as the state’s top 2027 prospect even before he entered high school and nothing has changed between then and now. Stanford holds on to the top spot for the third straight ranking update. But there has been a change to his status in this update. Before, we had Stanford listed as an athlete because of what he brought to the table on both sides of the ball. This time around, we are listing him as a defensive back. He still has plenty of value on offense but his upside looks higher on the defensive side of the ball. Stanford was somewhat limited earlier in the season with an injury so this season hasn’t been smooth sailing by any means. But the Jenks standout has been incredibly polished as a prospect for a while now.
