went from outside the Top 50 to now being ranked #20 overall and he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Gillespie is still a prospect that we want to learn more about and this offseason could be very big for just that. Gillespie is starting to establish himself as one of the top defensive backs in this class and the Tulsa area is quickly becoming a “no fly zone” with the amount of standout defensive backs that reside in Tulsa county. And Union has not been quiet when it comes to producing not only high level defensive backs but specifically cornerbacks that can absolutely lock down an opposing wide receiver. We mentioned that Gillespie is starting to establish himself and with that comes the start of his recruitment. He’s started to pick up a few offers and like we said earlier, it’s going to be a very busy offseason for him moving forward.

could very well be the next guy in that conversation moving forward. Before he entered high school, Gillespie was on our radar as our Prep Redzone Next writers were impressed with his potential but it was on offense as a running back. Now, the coaches at Union are excited about his potential on defense as a cornerback and a defensive back overall. It will be interesting to see how much playing time he receives this season and what kind of impact he has, playing against top competition.

With a father that reached the NFL and having good size himself, Noah is anb impressive running back coming out of the Sooner State. Measuring at 5’10, Noah has big play potential whenever he is on the field. With his sneaky speed, Noah has the ability to get to the edge of the defense in a few strides and has no problem slipping past defenders. Noah’s breakaway speed is another aspect of his game that is incredibly impressive. Once he breaks through the initial lines of defense, Noah can finish the job and score when he has the ball in his hands. Noah is on track to follow in his dad’s footsteps with Division 1 potential. The next four years of hard work and development will undoubtedly help his future become clearer at the college level.

With his father (Antonio) being a former High School All-American, and eventually playing at Troy before signing an Undrafted Free Agent deal with the Browns, the bar has been set for Noah. While his father was a big Defensive Tackle, Noah is a Running Back trying to avoid those big guys. At 5-foot-10 and 155-pounds he looks to be a very good option for Tulsa Union High School (No.1 ranked team in the state) going forward.
