as he was tearing up the camp circuit before his freshman year even began. Smith followed that up by starting for the Tigers right away on a very talented offensive line. Now, Smith has a year under his belt and he’s going to go into this season not looking like a typical sophomore. Smith is moving over to left tackle and he is already considered one of the state’s best offensive linemen, regardless of class. Smith proved last season that he belongs, despite being a freshman in 6A-1. The ceiling for him as a prospect moving forward is only getting higher.

checks in at #3 overall and has a very good argument for being the top overall guy in this class right now. Smith cracked the starting lineup for the Tigers last season as a freshman and he played really well on a very talented offensive line. This offseason, he’s moved positions and will be the foundational piece of the Broken Arrow offensive line for the next three seasons at left tackle. Smith looked really good when we watched him a few weeks ago at team camp. So it’s no surprise that Smith has been reporting P4 offers (what feels like) every other day. He’s quickly establishing himself as one of the top overall guys in the region.

checks in at #3 and right behind Wilkerson as an OL prospect. Smith started for Broken Arrow on the interior of their offensive line. And when you look at some of the personnel that Broken Arrow had on that unit, it’s impressive that a freshman cracked the starting lineup. But similar to Wilkerson, it was obvious that Smith was going to be a name to know in the summer before his freshman year. He started picking up P4 offers in the summer and things haven’t really slowed down now that his freshman film is making the rounds. Smith started for the Tigers at left guard and showed off a variety of skills. He could get to the second level and out of his stance in a hurry in pulling situations. We’ve talked about how special the state’s 2029 offensive line class could end up being and Smith is another good example of that. We’re looking forward to seeing where he lines up in 2026.

leads off a special trio of 2029 offensive linemen that are already on the radar of D1 coaches. Smith exploded onto the scene this summer when he attended OU’s camp and picked up his first offer. It started there and that momentum has only continued this season. Smith is part of a Broken Arrow offensive line unit that we think is criminally underrated across the state. They have some absolute monsters up front and Smith is a key part of that group. he’s lining up on the interior of Broken Arrow’s offensive line and he’s had a really strong start to his freshman season. Smith was one of a handful of players that we wrote about this offseason as a new name to watch this season. He’s certainly lived up to the hype so far this season and it’s going to be fun to see how he continues to progress.

He displays good initial quickness in his pass sets, along with good footwork, bend, balance, and lateral quickness that allow him to mirror defenders effectively. He has a strong anchor due to his good lower body strength, core stability, and hand placement. Smith also demonstrates solid base and reach blocking skills due to his quickness, low pad level, and strong leg drive, which help him move defenders and create running lanes.

Smith displays good initial quickness into his pass sets, with good footwork, bend, balance, and lateral agility to mirror. He has good base and reach blocking ability due to his quickness, pad level, and leg drive to displace defenders and create running lanes. His impressive mix of power and quickness will benefit him in the long run.

ample time and space to get busy. As of August 2024, he checks all the boxes on film: size is obvious, feet are great for his size/age and his fundamentals are nearly perfect. Doubling down on my thoughts of him as an O-Linemen, he must be in the conversation for best interior Defensive Tackle in the state, too. Everything about him is very advanced from an X’s and O’s stand point. He’s certainly one I’d be getting on campus early, if I were a college football program.
