We recently updated our 2029 prospect rankings and it now features the Top 50 players in the state's 2029 class. Plenty of players were added and there were quite a few players that moved up throughout the ranks. We'll have several breakdowns on individual prospects throughout the week on Prep Redzone Oklahoma.

In this breakdown, we're putting the spotlight on a team and not a position group. Broken Arrow is featured quite a bit in the 2029 rankings, with four players checking in as top ten overall prospects in the latest ranking update. All in all, they had six players ranked in the latest update so it's pretty clear that this group has the chance to be pretty special over the next three seasons. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma throughout the rest of the week for more individual breakdowns on the 2029 class as well as the 2028 ranking update next week!

Offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1409130' first='Devin' last='Smith'] checks in at #3 overall and has a very good argument for being the top overall guy in this class right now. Smith cracked the starting lineup for the Tigers last season as a freshman and he played really well on a very talented offensive line. This offseason, he's moved positions and will be the foundational piece of the Broken Arrow offensive line for the next three seasons at left tackle. Smith looked really good when we watched him a few weeks ago at team camp. So it's no surprise that Smith has been reporting P4 offers (what feels like) every other day. He's quickly establishing himself as one of the top overall guys in the region.

If you're looking for your breakout star in Class 6A-1 to watch this fall, here's our pick. [player_tooltip player_id='1573111' first='Joseph' last='Williams'] could end up being arguably the top overall playmaker in this class when it's all said and done. Williams had a terrific offseason on the 7v7 circuit, grabbing attention all over the country with his play at the wide receiver position. He then had a really solid spring and was one of the top receivers at the Bixby team camp. Once again, when Williams is on the field, he's making plays and making you pay attention to what he does. Williams feels like a no doubt playmaker and was a lock to be a top five overall prospect. The question moving forward will be whether he can contend for #1 overall.

Defensive back and overall athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1839583' first='Aceyn' last='Cherry'] will be a newcomer to Broken Arrow this season after breaking into the starting lineup with Muskogee last year. Cherry first stood out to us this offseason at our 7v7 tournaments and he's only continued that over the last six weeks. He was one of the more dominant two-way players at our May showcase and then had a really good spring with the Tigers, earning his first P4 offer. Cherry is another prospect that could see time on either side of the ball. But when we've watched the 2029 standout in person, we've always liked him for what he brings on the defensive side of the ball as a lockdown cornerback.

Wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2219772' first='Terrance' last='Adams'] is that fourth Tiger in the top ten rankings, checking in at #10 overall. Adams is another 2029 prospect that has already gotten the ball rolling on his recruitment. He's picked up a handful of P4 offers in the last month and that probably won't slow down with the camp circuit going on. Adams is a long athlete that can absolutely move. That combination of size, speed and overall athleticism makes him an interesting name to watch in this class. Offensively, he is an absolute dog at the receiver position. Defensively, he is a very physical player that can add even more depth to an already stacked Broken Arrow secondary.

Defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2127024' first='Favor' last='Okon'] checks in as a top 30 overall prospect and one of the top guys on the defensive line and we openly admit that he might be too low. We got a chance to watch Okon in person a few weeks ago at team camp and we were blown away with his work coming off the edge. The fact that he was just finishing up his freshman year is a scary proposition for the rest of Class 6A-1 moving forward. The fact that Okon and Smith are going to be able to go head to head for the next three years will only make both of them better. He already has size, burst and a solid bag of moves to get by, around and through opposing offensive linemen.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633535' first='Ethan' last='Tilghman'] rounds out this breakdown of Broken Arrow 2029 standouts and he's another prospect where it feels like he's just now scratching the surface. There's still a lot to learn about Tilghman and his game but we have seen him in person a few times in the last 18 months. And it seems like every time we've seen him, he finds a way to stand out and there's a lot of versatility to his game. Whether it's on offense or defense, he has the potential to be a guy to know moving forward. He was a 2029 prospect that definitely needed to be included in this summer's update and he could end up being much higher when it's all said and done.
