For one, the talent pool was out of this world, with blue-chip recruits coming from out of state, across the state, and locally in western Pennsylvania. The prospects were vast and ranged from classes 2024 to 2028. All of the coaches at the Top 150 camp did a great job of teaching and motivating. There were current and former pro players all over, including Aaron Donald, the best DL in the NFL, instructing the defensive line group. Plus, the event was heavily covered by media personnel in the recruiting industry. There were so many prospects worth mentioning in the recap that I had to make this into a multi-part series. So, without further delay, let’s spotlight the Third batch of standouts from the 2Tenths Top 150 camp.
Davis did a little bit of everything very well on Sunday. He’s an athlete that’s skilled playing off man or press coverage. He has good ball skills and contests and competes very well. David has a durable body frame, and he’s very competitive in general. He’s confident and maintains good technique, pedaling on a desired pad level throughout. David also displays make-up speed when he’s beaten in coverage. The All-State ’26 selection has a bunch of Power 5 offers to date, including Penn State, Pitt, Kentucky, WVU, Duke, and Kentucky, to name a few.
Luke definitely has an FBS skillset that I witnessed first hand. Kosko has a big-league arm and can make all the throws. He completed a lot of difficult passes during 7-on-7s and one-on-ones. He definitely has the size at 6’4 and the arm strength to be a high-volume passer. Kosko received his first offer back in January.
Samir showed a lot of speed and athleticism running his routes. He looked like a dynamo in the slot, and I can’t wait to watch him during the season. Crosby received his first offer from UNLV earlier this year. He showcased good speed coming off the line of scrimmage, and he competes for the ball if the defender is close.
Highlights
Colsen definitively showed everyone why he’s a high-priority recruit on Sunday. He looked great doing drills and competing during one-on-ones. He displayed sharp zone drops in 7-on-7 and also has the quickness to break on the ball. Also, you can trust that Gatten’s measurables are legit at 6’1.5″ and 210 lbs. As a matter of fact, all of the prospects from Pittsburgh Central Catholic looked good on Sunday.
Highlights
The sheer size of Brady has to be intimidating for normal high school players. He moves very well for being a recruit of his size. I was especially impressed watching O’Hara perform box drills during the wide receiver drill portion. He has good footwork and runs with good lean and bend. Before the 150 camp, I wasn’t sure how O’Hara would fare running routes or if he was capable of being more than a blocking TE. I’m glad to say that Brady alleviated all of my concerns. He has quickness, body control, mixed with reliable catching hands. I’m very pumped to watch this FBS recruit catch passes in the intermediate area this year.
Highlights
Stevenson was somebody I’ve highlighted before without ever having seen in person. I enjoyed watching compete & contest passes during 7 on 7s. He has good quickness and transitions well on deep throws. He’s confident and enjoys competing. Xair has long arms which is beneficial for press man. He also has the size to contests big WRs.
Carter competed hard all day while simultaneously displaying a D1 skill set. Bonner ran his routes well and snagged multiple jump balls. His catch radius is wide-ranging, and his frame is ideal for boxing out DBs. Carter is very similar to fellow ’27 prospect Kaleem Taylor Kaleem Taylor 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Johnstown | 2027 State PA because if he continues to grow, he will be a top-notch flex TE/H-back. Bonner also was a standout performer at PSU’s prospect camp too. He earned an MVP nod during the first session of the showcase Sunday.
Khalil Taylor Khalil Taylor 5’11” | 180 lbs | ATH Seton LaSalle | 2027 State PA was another impressive underclassman who performed well on Sunday. I love how he competes and goes up to get the ball. He’s skilled with a big frame at 6’0, 185 lbs. Taylor showed good speed and body control all day. Khalil is a big strider who will quickly eat up a DB’s cushion if given a free release. His strength and vertical leap help him when he competes for 50/50 passes. The ’27 prospect presently has one FBS offer from UNLV, but expect that list to grow soon.
Banbury is another prospect worth mentioning from the camp. He displayed body control and mobility during drills. He competed hard all day and is only going to be an incoming freshman. I’m definitely excited to see the 5’11”, 195 lbs OLB play this year. With Banbury, Upper St. Clair will have a stout athlete for the next 4 years.
Devin started in the playoffs for Shady Side, and it wasn’t a fluke. He’s agile with good speed and quickness. He throws a decent ball, and much like Colt Sprankle Colt Sprankle 6’0″ | 155 lbs | QB Armstrong | 2026 State PA , he is wet behind the ears a little bit but is ahead of the class. He throws with anticipation and is a quick decision-maker. Harris has speed and quickness that’s hard to corral once he breaks free. I’m looking forward to watching this dual threat talent in ‘23.

Delmario Shields
Delmario Shields
Shields is another prospect that needs to be on everyone’s radar. He’s a 6’2, 175-pound physical press man corner with coverage skills. He has good speed and transitions fluidly on deep routes. He displayed good ball skills, snagging an INT at the highest point during one-on-ones. He competes hard and also has adequate footwork, mixed with good hips. I’m excited to see if Shields can translate the ability I witnessed at the 150 camp during the season.
It wasn’t my first time seeing Kaleem, but I still feel newly impressed with his ability. Taylor is still wet behind the ears in some areas, like body positioning on jump balls, but he’s a standout prospect. He’s 6’2-6’3 with ball skills, body control, and strong hands. Kaleem’s speed and tempo during his routes are good and will continue to improve. Should Taylor continue to grow (which he will), he’s well-suited to be a dynamic flex TE/H-back.
Blatt plays for Pittsburgh Central Catholic and is a player to watch out for. He has an FBS build already at 6’4, 215 lbs. Ashton’s agility is equally as impressive as his frame. Blatt flips his hips well and is in control of his movements on drops. Blatt, Colsen Gatten Colsen Gatten 6’1″ | 210 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2026 State PA , and Roman Thompson Roman Thompson 6’0″ | 200 lbs | ATH Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2027 State PA all have the muscle mass of a junior or senior. He’s definitely another FBS prospect the Vikings have at their disposal.
Highlights
Alexander is a big O-line prospect in the 2026 class. He has FBS agility, balance, and strength. He showcases mobility and short-area quickness with D1 size at 6’4, 262 lbs. Central Valley’s sophomore recruit already has an offer from Central Michigan in the MAC. He will be worth the cost of admission in 2023.
Thompson is hard to forget once you’ve seen him in person. For one, he’s only going to be a freshman in high school, but he’s built like a freshman in college. He’s 6’0, 200 lbs and moves well laterally. He displayed physicality at times, getting hands on the opponent, and he runs well. I’m definitely excited to see how Thompson performs on the field this year.
Walter showcased his abilities well at the 150 camp. He is another QB with a strong arm and quick release. He did a good job of getting the ball to his targets in time to make plays. Cam was competitive in both 7-on-7s and the one-on-ones portion. He displayed D1 capabilities in terms of pure measurables and throwing a catchable ball with velocity. Cam has been on the radar of a couple FBS programs but hasn’t been offered as of yet.
Maceo looked like a smooth athlete on Sunday. He showcased good quickness and speed going through DB drills. He’s versatile and looks good running and catching the football in general. I’m also intrigued to watch him play on the offensive side of the ball. Watkins has coverage skills and the frame you like to see in a DB prospect. He’s yet another D1 scholarship prospect for Pittsburgh Central Catholic.
Mason Green
Mason Green
Green had a really good outing at the Top 150. Mason was awarded the MVP OL of the first session. The OT prospect moved gracefully with agility in the drill portion. Mason performed well during one-on-ones, showcasing his strength and kick slide. The ’26 OL from South Fayette proved he was worth the invite the whole day.
Gompers is another athlete who looked good moving around. He has the size and agility necessary to play at the FBS level. He was sporting a cast, but I didn’t notice due to his fluidity while performing tasks. He looked quick and has next-level body control. Gompers is 6’5, 200 lbs, and he already has offers from UNLV, Pitt, WVU, and Boston College.
Daiveon did a variety of things well at the camp. I like his explosion out of his stance at DE. He has a big lower body, which leads me to believe that he will grow into his frame nicely. He moves well laterally and has a couple of levels to reach before obtaining maximum strength. Taylor has offers from Penn State, Marshall, and Miami, OH to date.
Jimmy is another young pup that had everyone standing at attention. The ’27 prospect moves very well for an athlete of his size. Kalis is only a freshman, but even if he were a senior, standing at 6’5 and weighing 250 pounds would be big enough to be a scholarship offensive lineman. I will be sure to keep Kalis on my radar because he’s definitely an FBS offensive tackle prospect.
Highlights
Josiah is another smooth prospect who displayed a lot of skill Sunday. He’s above average coming off the ball at the snap. He was probably the best all day at synchronizing his hand violence with his pass rush footwork. Collins won a bunch of reps effortlessly during the one-on-one portion. He’s a quick-twitched DE that OTs with slow feet have trouble with. He even got the seal of approval from the best defensive lineman in the NFL, Aaron Donald.
Jayden performed well in front of the crowd. He has good footwork and competed hard during one-on-ones. He displayed patience in press and did a solid job contesting the ball. Price is intriguing to me because he’s a tall corner who can cover, which is in high demand. Jayden has one offer from FCS Robert Morris.
Malloy is another young prospect with an impressive build. He has explosion and body control overall. He looks dangerous running and catching the football as a RB. He’s competitive and moves very well for being 6’0, 190 lbs. I’m definitely onboard with checking out this 2026 athlete during the season.
