Played safety in a two-high look for the majority of this event, did a masterful job doing so. Currently committed to Buffalo football,

outside, opposing QBs had trouble fitting balls into windows where Coleman and Stevenson were lurking. Stevenson, ranked as a top-ten senior athlete, has the complete skill-set to dominate as a DB at an event like this. An overtly physical match-up that can derail routes headed his way with physicality alone. Great on-the-fly reader of passing concepts, this trait showed off in a rep that led to a pick, Stevenson coming down to fill a curl-zone in front of him. This rep can be seen in the montage below. A fantastic safety performance was put forth by the USO senior.
Below is a 20-play, two minute montage of @412Elite_7v7FB‘s dominant defense.

after the Central State offer. Since, the top five-two prospect has secured offers from Youngstown State, New Hampshire, and Lincoln (D2 HBCU). The question surrounding Stevenson is an easy one to identify, a bit tougher to answer. Is he an FCS or Group of Five FBS player? Will he pan out at a Toledo/Temple/Akron, or is he best suited for FCS play locally? Either way, special player to bring in.

played mostly middle linebacker last year but shows the athleticism to play anywhere on the field. Stevenson has legit speed and athletic ability. You do not see many 6’3″ athletes move as fast as he does. He has a different gear for speed and athleticism. At linebacker, he shows a great ability to attack the offense. Either by blitzing or running around and making tackles all over the field. He projects as a defensive back or a wide receiver in college. He recently picked up offers from Miami and Marshall. I expect more offers to come his way.

Hudl has him at 6’3, Twitter has him at 6’1, big-time difference that could have coaches questioning.
Doesn’t change my FBS-grade on him. Very high on this kid.

‘s lack of noise outside of Western Pennsylvania leaves me scratching my head a bit. Here’s a position and alignment versatile prospect who has a moldable build that programs would love to get a hold of. 6’2, 200 pounds,

‘s tape left me wondering why more folks in recruiting circles aren’t mentioning his name more often. To my knowledge, this is the young man’s first go at success on the field. He might be relatively unknown outside of Western PA. I am more than willing to help out, his game deserves recognition. The University Prep sophomore can produce against the run or pass from his OLB position. Stevenson ends on the athletic side of the linebacker position, showing off pursuit and closing speed skills when blitzing or attacking off the edge. Shifts laterally from hole to hole in a flash to help against the run. Stevenson is one of those prospects that has a nose for the football as well as causing turnovers. His ability to cover the pass forced me to rank him inside the top 50. Five interceptions to his name, Stevenson was seen playing the run, then quickly planting and finding his zone after diagnosing the pass. He earned the “ATH” designation because of this. I don’t doubt that this young man could play safety if need be. Stevenson could also be a difference-maker on offense down the road. The weight room will be crucial in his development, I have no worries that the guys out West will get him in line.

Stevenson was somebody I’ve highlighted before without ever having seen in person. I enjoyed watching compete & contest passes during 7 on 7s. He has good quickness and transitions well on deep throws. He’s confident and enjoys competing. Xair has long arms which is beneficial for press man. He also has the size to contests big WRs.
