Not surprised to watch 412Elite’s Nelson Coleman Nelson Coleman 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB/WR Rabun Gap-Nacoochee | 2028 GA lock down his side of the field. I was able to watch 412Elite Yellow work up close for three or so games, throwing to the right side of the field was nearly impossible thanks to Coleman’s efforts along the boundary.

Not surprised considering Coleman is one of the best DBs in all of Pennsylvania. Multiple PBUs, multiple interceptions, Coleman put together a fantastic weekend and was a lock for this list.

Nelson Coleman Nelson Coleman 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB/WR Rabun Gap-Nacoochee | 2028 GA is a good athlete who was a wide receiver and defensive back. At defensive back, he has great man-to-man coverage skills. He can lock down wide receivers and cover them well. Then he has good ball skills, and if anything is thrown near him, he can get his hands on the ball and knock it down or intercept it. As an offensive player, he is a weapon you can use all over the field. He is tough to tackle in the open field and he can make defenders miss in space. Coleman is an outstanding athlete who projects as a division 1 Prospect. who picked up an offer from West Virginia last year.

Coleman is another promising underclassman in the 2027 class. He’s a very instinctual DB that competes hard in coverage naturally. He has good off-man and zone coverage footwork. He plays with a low center of gravity, which allows him to have body control. He has good ball skills for a freshman and does a good job breaking up the WR’s arms during his PBUs. Nelson is physical in press-man technique and skilled at using his offhand to defend passes on fade routes. Coleman showed his playmaking ability early in the year with a pick-six on an underthrown pass.
