remains committed to Penn State for now, but he’s made it clear that he’s still open to exploring his options and that’s all the reason schools need to stay aggressive. Davis is special. From the safety position, he’s a tone-setter. Alongside fellow PSU decommit Gabe Jenkins, he’s one of the main reasons Imani Christian looks like a 3A state title favorite. Davis flies to the football and uses his speed to hunt down ball carriers or track deep passes for turnovers. On offense, that same burst makes him a threat every time he touches it, whether it’s on a tunnel screen, a direct snap, or a handoff. Davis brings elite athleticism and explosion to both sides of the ball. He’s the kind of player you want in your locker room because he can impact the game from anywhere.

Penn State’s recruitment of athletes and running backs in the state of Pennsylvania has been on point for a while, and

is the latest example of a commitment to them. Davis is a talented athlete in the 2026 class and the top athlete in our rankings. His ability to make defenders miss is special, and when you couple that with elite speed and you see a legitimate running back.. Then, as a defender, his ability to make plays all over the field is special. I think it is possible he plays as a running back or as a defensive back at the next level.

is a special athlete who can play any skill position on the football field. He has a ton of offers from College Football programs, but committed to playing football at Penn State. His ability to make plays as a defensive back and as a running back or wide receiver on offense is special. Penn State is getting a good player who could make an impact there.

is a crafty football player. He’s an overall athlete who excels at many different roles. His film is littered with various clips of different positions and roles in all 3 phases of the game. Davis is a speedy player who can outrun most defenders he faces. On special teams, you can see him returning punts and kicks with relative ease. Davis is one of the best athletes in the state for good reason, excelling at whatever position he’s in. Penn State will no doubt dominate in his last season of high school football.

being named MVP of the entire weekend. An animal, Davis brought a different tone out on the field, doing so with his play more than anything else. We often see big names, highly-sought after prospects take plays off. Sometimes I come across prospects with substantial hype surrounding their names, just to witness a flat performance. Back-to-back years now,

has done the exact opposite. Davis would show off his capabilities when given the rock, taking a shallow punt 90+ yards to the house to open up scoring. Flat out burners attached to Davis’ back, this rep was him letting West Catholic know he’s arguably the best prospect on the field. His interception down the sideline was equally impressive. Tack on two scores on the ground. No prospect left a better impression, Davis took over this football game, dominating at all three phases of the game. MVP of the weekend.

Davis showed a lot of promise and flashes as a freshman and this was a good followup to that freshman season. Davis looked good on both sides of the ball as a running back and then a member of Imani’s secondary, he was especially good when playing close to the line of scrimmage defensively. We saw flashes of his speed and athleticism throughout the game on both sides of the ball though Steelton-Highspire did a great job overall of trying to keep the Imani run game in check.

A formidable asset across all facets of the game, he presents opponents with a daunting challenge to contend with. Davis, surprisingly, is the second in command out of Imani’s 2 blue chips. Like Burnett, Davis has multiple power 5 scholarship offers. His ongoing development and refinement of skills in real-time are intriguing to witness. Davis consistently poses a significant big-play threat, demonstrating the capacity to generate explosive plays on each possession. Davis is a natural athlete with fluid hip movement, quick feet, strong ball skills, and playmaking ability.

Davis did a little bit of everything very well on Sunday. He’s an athlete that’s skilled playing off man or press coverage. He has good ball skills and contests and competes very well. David has a durable body frame, and he’s very competitive in general. He’s confident and maintains good technique, pedaling on a desired pad level throughout. David also displays make-up speed when he’s beaten in coverage. The All-State ’26 selection has a bunch of Power 5 offers to date, including Penn State, Pitt, Kentucky, WVU, Duke, and Kentucky, to name a few.
