Da’Juan Craighead Da’Juan Craighead 6'3" | 205 lbs | EDGE/LB Braddock Hills | 2027 State PA is a special athlete who lined up at both edge and outside linebacker for Imani Christian last season. At either position, he shows twitchy explosiveness and the range to impact plays from sideline to sideline. As an outside linebacker, he demonstrated impressive coverage ability, showing comfort dropping into zone and reading the quarterback’s eyes. He does a great job taking away passing lanes and reacting quickly to throws in front of him. Craighead also displays a strong understanding of run fits, flying downhill to meet ball carriers near the line of scrimmage. His closing speed and physicality allow him to consistently finish tackles in space. When aligned off the edge, he becomes an active pass rusher who uses his burst to pressure the quarterback. He flashes the ability to bend and accelerate into the backfield, creating disruptive plays behind the line of scrimmage. Craighead’s versatility makes him a valuable defensive chess piece who can be moved around to exploit matchups. Given his athletic traits and production, expect more programs to enter the mix as he continues to develop.

DaJuan Craighead is a good outside linebacker who plays well in space. He does a good job of reading his keys and attacking the offense. He is equally as good against the run as he is against the pass. I really like how he drops in coverage and takes away throwing lanes for the quarterback. Craighead has a chance to make a big leap next season as well. He also received a scholarship offer in January from Duke. I expect he will probably continue to get more looks from Colleges.

DaJuan Craighead is a good athlete who excels as a linebacker. His ability to chase plays all over the field is impressive, as he has the speed to run around and make plays. He also is a good tackler, who does a nice job tackling in the open field. I am excited to see him participate in the combine drills and see how he stacks up against this talented group of linebackers.
