Vick Starr III Vick Starr III 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Imani Christian Academy | 2028 State PA entered this update already inside the Top 100 and climbs from No. 91 to No. 83 after another strong evaluation cycle. Watching his sophomore tape only reinforced many of the things that initially stood out during his freshman season. Starr now sits just outside the Top 10 defensive backs in Pennsylvania’s 2028 class, and the gap between him and the next tier is incredibly small. While recruiting is still developing, I believe the ranking reflects where his long-term trajectory is heading. In my opinion, Starr possesses both Top 75 and Power Four potential if his development continues at its current pace. The progression from freshman to sophomore year is exactly what evaluators want to see. This ranking rewards that growth while leaving room for future movement. Do not be surprised if Starr continues pushing toward the upper tier of defensive backs in the state.

Vick Starr has the corner mentality, he’s physical, quick, and plays with a lot of passion. Starr, while being a little bit shorter, plays boundary corner for Imani, never backing down from opposing teams X WR. Starr really shines when he’s playing cloud corner, or being squatted down as his best skillset is his quickness and physicality breaking on balls between the short and intermediate level of the field. In run defense, he also looks good, plays strong, glides under blocks, and often times is involved in making the tackle. Starr is someone I expect to garner some attention from colleges soon.
