has been a favorite of mine for a while, and every new piece of film only confirms why. He’s got the look of a true next-level quarterback. His mechanics are crisp, his footwork is clean, and his throwing motion is effortless. He’s confident in his drops, stays balanced through his throws, and delivers with consistency. Harris throws with excellent touch and anticipation. He knows when to take a little off the ball and when to rip it. He’s athletic enough to escape pressure, and he’s smart enough to know when to tuck it and go. His calm demeanor makes him a natural leader, and you can tell his teammates feed off that presence. Holding early offers from Pennsylvania and Princeton, he’s already on college radars, but he’s the type of prospect who could see more attention come his way with continued production. Based on his tape, he projects as an FCS-level starter with the ceiling to play even higher.

is a good quarterback who also has excellent athleticism. He has good mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He throws a good deep ball by throwing with good touch on the ball. Then, when the play breaks down, he shows off his athleticism by running around to make a play. What I love about the way he plays as a quarterback is that he can keep his eyes downfield. He can also take off for run plays as well. Harris has the skills to improve even more this season. He also already has offers from Penn and Princeton. I could also expect more offers to come his way.

received a mid-level DII grade from myself after watching his junior tape. UPenn thought otherwise and offered the Pittsburgh passer earlier this year. We’ll see if Harris continues to make me look silly, more FCS offers would certainly accomplish that. If not, I see several D2s clamoring for his commitment this coming Fall.

is cemented deep into the depths of this legendary PA QB class. There are about 40-50 good ones, with Penn Hills’ starting quarterback ranking in the middle of the pack. “Middle of the pack” might bring forth a bad connotation, that is until you realize he’s also ranked a Top250 junior. A new setting, in an environment he’s unfamiliar with, all of this and Harris (formerly out of Shady Side Academy) still went toe-to-toe with

in a game that would be classified as a shootout. I had questions about Harris’ frame coming into this one, seeing him up close helped dissolve some of those worries. Flashed a capable arm, one that could easily stretch the field.

and Susquehanna Township brought forth several options to attack Penn Hills with. Harris didn’t have as many weapons at his disposal, yet was a drive away from leading his team to victory on the road. A lot to like, hope he gets his tape up sooner rather than later.

played quarterback for Penn Hills last year. When he is in the pocket Harris played at a high level last year. He has good mechanics and does a nice job throwing the ball inside the pocket. He throws a good deep ball, with the perfect amount of touch on the ball. When the play breaks down Harris shows good mobility by scrambling to make plays with his feet. Harris is a good combination of a player inside and outside the pocket.

‘ mental, he can clearly handle it. Add post-snap mesh with backs in the backfield, Harris is seen tucking and delivering accurate darts to slants and out routes alike. Love the deep ball accuracy, several reps on tape showcasing he can drop balls into a bucket when targeting nines downfield. Displays an underrated mechanical set-up. Footwork looks worked on, there’s timing and rhythm in his drop back. Has a flick to his release but it doesn’t look unnatural. Interested in seeing if he hits a growth spurt of some kind. Harris prefers to throw the football nine times out of ten, yet he’s more than capable of moving for first downs. Wonder if this part of his game will expand at Penn Hills. Could easily be moved inside the Top20.

Harris is another field general that displays ability ahead of his time. The sophomore prospect is a dual-threat weapon who isn’t afraid to go deep. He has a strong enough arm to consistently complete 5-step routes. His athleticism keeps defenses honest with the threat of him calling his own number. His speed is a defensive liability once he breaks containment and leaves the pocket. He’s looked accurate completing play-action fades and posts this season. Harris has the type of athletic ability that will allow him to be versatile if he so chooses.

Here’s a 2026 prospect that I’m fully aware of, one that is currently on WL in a wait-and-see area on our site. Well, I waited and I saw. 380+ yards, four scores against this North Catholic secondary. This is the second week in a row that I’m mentioning a QB performance against this secondary. Love how poised this kid looked in the pocket. Good base, eyes, and helmet not darting back and forth, I can tell he understands where his key defender is located pre-snap based on how confident he is with the football. No hesitation when attacking hole shots downfield, again, real confidence on display. Yes, the competition might be hurting, yet we can circle this date as the moment

, he is wet behind the ears a little bit but is ahead of the class. He throws with anticipation and is a quick decision-maker. Harris has speed and quickness that’s hard to corral once he breaks free. I’m looking forward to watching this dual threat talent in ‘23.
