Simply put, you do not see many offensive linemen like Brendan Alexander Brendan Alexander 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Central Valley | 2026 State PA . His ability to get off the ball and block defensive players is excellent. He has great size (6’4″) and athleticism. Whoever gets Alexander is getting a good prospect with excellent athletic traits. On May 31st, he visited North Carolina State, but since then, his Twitter has been quiet, so we will see where he might end up.

Brendan Alexander Brendan Alexander 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Central Valley | 2026 State PA is one of many bright talents in the Pittsburgh area. He’s a great athlete who moves well on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. At left tackle, he gets good drive in the run game. He anchors well and and has great hand placement on his punch. He’s a disciplined run stuffer who can read plays as they happen and is typically in his gap before the runner can get through. As a pass rusher, he’s quick to get off and is decisive in his rush.

Brendan Alexander Brendan Alexander 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Central Valley | 2026 State PA is an all-around problem on the DL. He primarily stays lined up in a 2/2i technique with the flexibility to go out to a 3T. He’s a good athlete and plays with a low center of gravity overall, making him harder to move. While more of a gap stuffer, he offers some juice as a pass rusher with his power profile. Moving back to his run game aspect, he sits and makes double teams, not enough to move or displace him. Alexander is a 4-star who holds 26 Division 1 offers and for good reason.

As a defensive line, he is such a good athlete that offensive linemen have difficulty blocking. His ability to get off the ball and blow past offensive linemen is special. He is a disruptive force that creates a lot of issues for offenses. Then, as an offensive lineman, he explodes off the ball and blocks defensive players at a high level. His ability to go downfield and block linebackers and defensive backs is impressive. Alexander is a talented player who already has multiple Division One offers, I expect more to come his way.

His film is excellent, as you expect. Not many 6’4 inches tall linemen move like him. Alexander is super athletic and does a great job on the offensive and defensive lines, using his athleticism to his advantage. On offense, he does a good job of double-team blocking defensive tackles to block linebackers at the next level. His athletic ability stands out on these plays with his ability to chase defenders. At the defensive line position, he is equally as good. He does a great job chasing plays all over the field. Alexander is a good two-way player who has loads of talent.

Visits to Penn State, Maryland, and Pitt through the month of April. Maryland and ACC member Virginia Tech would offer Brendan Alexander Brendan Alexander 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Central Valley | 2026 State PA in the same month.

May would prove to be a huge month for the top-ranked defensive lineman out of Central Valley. Offers out of Stanford, UConn, and Georgia Tech. Two offers that created a bit of noise among recruiting circles came out of Michigan State and Arkansas. The BIG10 and SEC resonate well among prospects, these two programs calling to provide Alexander with a scholarship opportunity hits a bit different than the rest. Worth noting that Alexander took home OL MVP at the ALL22 camp held in State College, PA. Many like Alexander at DL, myself included, yet I might have to adjust my future projection based on that performance alone.
