is a good athlete who is playing quarterback and defensive back for Greensburg Central Catholic. At quarterback, he does a good job of making plays with his feet. He is excellent on designed QB run plays where he uses his athleticism and speed to make defenders miss. Then, when he gets in the open field, he just explodes past defenders. As a passer, he has a good arm, but he is still developing as a thrower. As a defensive back, he shows good coverage skills and he is able to make tackles in the open field. Crosby is a talented prospect in the 2026 prospect.

continues to impress collegiate programs enough for them to pull the trigger. Tape is phenomenal, good enough to push-back against size questions, good enough to land him inside the top 50 in his class. Miami (OH) adds their name to the Crosby pot, with UNLV serving as Crosby’s other FBS offer to date. I think of

‘ supreme two-way capabilities and can’t help but correlate those skill sets with Crosby’s. Having college programs stamp him alleviates questions outsiders might have, which will ultimately lead to other programs feeling more comfortable to extend opportunities to the GCC sophomore.

Crosby for Greensburg Central Catholic finished ninth among sophomores with 35 receptions for 690 yards and seven touchdowns. A strong follow up to a very good freshman season in which he recorded 27 receptions for 464 yards and five touchdowns. He’s one of the top-50 players in the 2026 class according to us here at PrepRedzone thanks to his crisp route running, straight line speed, and plus athleticism. HUDL

Samir is another well-known commodity on the Prep Redzone PA platform. The 5’7 slot hauled in 7 receptions for 153 yards and a TD vs. Mt Pleasant in a 37-24 Week 0 victory. Crosby isn’t unknown since he currently has one offer to FBS UNLV. He’s an athlete on both sides of the ball and trouble for whomever guards him. Crosby runs crisp routes with tremendous lateral mobility and straight-line speed. His latest performance proves what I saw at the 2 Tenths Top 150 camp was no fluke. He eats up cushions and makes defenders whiff in the open field. This “little big slot” will be making highlight reels all season long.

Samir showed a lot of speed and athleticism running his routes. He looked like a dynamo in the slot, and I can’t wait to watch him during the season. Crosby received his first offer from UNLV earlier this year. He showcased good speed coming off the line of scrimmage, and he competes for the ball if the defender is close.

the quarterback more often, but I’m more than willing to wait if he can perform the way he did at WR and DB. At quarterback, we all can come to the consensus that he’ll act as a dual-threat prospect, GCC decided to put him in space at wideout so we can all see a glimpse of that special open-field agility. We saw some of that this weekend. We also got to see him make smart, disciplined plays from his DB/S spot, something I didn’t know he was capable of. Towards the end of his tape, maybe after this game got out of hand, Crosby took snaps behind center. Much of what I’ve seen at 7v7s and off-season camps flashed for a bit. Crosby threw for a touchdown while also getting in some RPO sets to show off his athleticism. Can’t wait to see more.
