Here’s what the versatile athlete had to say about his moment with Coach Martin.
I talked to the Head Coach Chuck Martin. The conversation was pretty short and to the point but I really liked the whole coaching staff especially the Head Coach. Really loved their beliefs and winning traditions and how coach Martin had turned the program around for the better. I’m excited to get started with the recruiting process and happy that it started off this way with a great school. I really liked the campus and facilities that Miami Ohio had to offer. Truly blessed, grateful and excited to have received my first Division One offer from a great school.
The young man has a great approach to all things recruiting, excited for his future.

We got the chance to hear from Peters Township’s man behind center, so I’ll let him do the talking.
Nolan DiLucia, ranked just outside the top five at his position, now has an FBS offer under his belt. Expect a snowball to occur in his favor. I stress that things are a bit tougher for QBs in this recruiting landscape. DiLucia’s talents are likely serviceable at many programs, doesn’t mean all will reach out. Awesome to see him get the ball rolling after many community members and media outlets clamored that the QB deserves more attention.
Here’s DiLucia’s thoughts after the moment.
I spoke with Coach Martin, I walked up and introduced myself and he mentioned how they recruit Peters guys a bit, then said how he would like to extend me an offer. I was in shock a little because it was my first offer but I was very happy and knew my hard work was starting to pay off. I plan to try to communicate with the coaches when I am able to contact them and to meet with them when they come to our school during the spring. When I talked to the quarterback coach, Coach Ragland, he mentioned how he liked the way my team rallied around myself, as well as the way I worked in the pocket with my passing and touch. They also liked how I could move well.

I have no problem pointing out my many hits on the rankings, DiLucia, Ahmed, Gehm, all of these names were ranked high before the FBS offers came. I have to take the L here after under valuing Ethan Shearer Ethan Shearer 6’0″ | 215 lbs | ATH Central Valley | 2026 State PA ‘s tape. I like Shearer as a Top250 prospect, this usually reserved for FCS-level prospects. I was wrong on my grade, that’s evident after Miami (OH) offered the stud LB out of Central Valley. I hardly ever have FBS-capable prospects outside of my Top 100, expect him to climb even further up our ranks this off-season.
Here are Shearer’s thoughts when asked to elaborate a bit further on the interaction.
When I first arrived, I talked to the Coach Martin and it was short but sweet. He cut right to the point and shook my hand and said “Congratulations we’re gonna offer you.” I was just in shock. I didn’t know what to think or even say besides thank you. I plan on keeping my connection with all the coaches by messaging them updates and workouts. They liked my film and I couldn’t be any more happy that they did.

A top ten talent among his 2026 classmates. A top three defensive linemen regardless of EDGE/IDL designation. A top five OL prospect too, Central Valley’s Brendan Alexander Brendan Alexander 6’4″ | 280 lbs | DL Central Valley | 2026 State PA has received plenty of fanfare on the site over the past two years, all deserved of course. You won’t hear much news in regards to his tape or ranking, kid remains among the elite in the state. However, what’s Alexander’s offer list looking like after the MAC offer? MOO adds their name to a laundry list of schools that include other MAC programs such as Akron, Bowling Green, and Central Michigan. NC State and Penn State are the BIG10 suitors still leading the way in Alexander’s recruitment, with ACC powers Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, and Pitt all attempting to reel Alexander away from the likes of NC State and PSU. West Virginia also has their name in the hat, representing the BIG12.
Central Valley’s stud blue chip prospect, fresh off being named a top ten prospect on our 2027 board, number two back in his class, adds yet another offer to his growing suitor list. Miami (OH) joins Toledo and Akron as the three MAC programs to extend a scholarship offer to the CV back. Henry carries a Power Five offer out of ACC’s Pitt, Henry is likely to hear back from every MAC school that recruits Western PA. That’s his floor, his ceiling will likely have him hearing from BIG10 schools as time progresses.

Always special seeing a freshman get his first collegiate opportunity. Miami (OH) rightfully saw the raw potential in Central Valley’s Mekhi Ahmed Mekhi Ahmed 6’2″ | 175 lbs | ATH Central Valley | 2027 State PA and pulled the trigger on the young man after a visit. Ahmed recently placed three spots outside our 2027 Top50. An FBS program stamping his potential will likely have him beside some of the classes elite moving forward.
Here are Ahmed’s thoughts after the awesome moment.rn
I got the offer at Miami Ohio. I went to their in-house visit on March 10th. I was talking to Head Coach Martin. He asked for my name and said he saw my film. Then he said we would like to offer you. I got heightened and weighted, I was very honored when he said the words and thanked him. I loved the campus. I plan on keeping my connection with him and all the coaching staff by reaching out and going to the camps. They like my ability to get off the line, get open field and my route running abilities.
Appreciative and thankful that Gehm was able to share his immediate thoughts on the celebratory moment this past weekend.
Adam Gehm, recently ranked as a top-five 2026 TE prospect, now has his talents certified by a program that does well out West. More attention is likely to be paid, hopefully programs are beginning to catch on to Gehm’s athletic potential.
Here’s what the Top Five TE prospect had to say about the moment.rn
I greeted Head Coach Chuck Martin and shook his hand, as well as the offensive coordinator/TE Coach Pat Welsh. They noticed on my film my athletic ability to make plays at my size and length. They see high potential in me. When coach Martin said we would love to offer you and I was extremely hyped and motivated to work harder. The first offer is always super special and knowing they see potential in me makes me want to work harder to exceed all expectations.

Will be receiving quotes from the top 15 OL that will be posted here.
Identified early as an FBS/early candidate lineman prospect. Hit the nail on the head here, special thanks to the ones around him (family, coaches) who made sure I had him on radar prior to the rankings drop. Bonnet has a top ten ceiling, that’s a huge compliment coming from me. Top ten OL prospects usually always sit inside the top 40-50. Excited to hear back from him!

Westinghouse’s Josiah Collins Josiah Collins 6’2″ | 215 lbs | DL Westinghouse | 2026 State PA burst onto the scene this past Fall, putting together impressive tape that ultimately led to him being ranked inside the Top 50 among his 2026 peers. His early play also led to an early Temple offer back in October, which stood as his lone FBS opportunity thus far. That is, before Miami (OH) swooped in to offer the 6’2, 225-pound sophomore DL. Expect his offer count to double by September.
Top 10 two-way prospect among his 2026 classmates, Samir Crosby Samir Crosby 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Greensburg Central Catholic | 2026 State PA continues to impress collegiate programs enough for them to pull the trigger. Tape is phenomenal, good enough to push-back against size questions, good enough to land him inside the top 50 in his class. Miami (OH) adds their name to the Crosby pot, with UNLV serving as Crosby’s other FBS offer to date. I think of Braylon Littlejohn Braylon Littlejohn 6’2″ | 170 lbs | ATH Butler | 2024 State PA and Jackson Pons Jackson Pons 6’2″ | 185 lbs | ATH Norwin | 2024 State PA ‘ supreme two-way capabilities and can’t help but correlate those skill sets with Crosby’s. Having college programs stamp him alleviates questions outsiders might have, which will ultimately lead to other programs feeling more comfortable to extend opportunities to the GCC sophomore.

The hair splitting Sean Franklin Sean Franklin 6’5″ | 300 lbs | OL Mars | 2026 State PA and the rest of the 20 OL ranked above him is razor thin. Easily a top 15 OL, easily a top 75 prospect on the right day. I didn’t expect to Franklin to see an FBS offer this early, however. There’s a lot to like, it isn’t about his skillset in anyway, was just unsure if an FBS school would pull the trigger this early on. Good on Miami (OH).
I got a chance to learn what this moment was like for Franklin, below are some quotes.rn
The person that I initially received the offer from was the Head Coach, Coach Martin. It was a really exciting moment and it kind of caught me by surprise but It was a really great experience all around. I plan to keep sending them highlights and to stay in touch with them. They said they liked the physicality that my game shows.
