is. He made his impact as a wide receiver, safety, returner, and kicker last year for Greensburg Central Catholic. The best part of his game that is impressive, he has great speed. So at every position, he can use that speed to his benefit. As a wide receiver, he shows good hands and catches the ball well. He is also good after the catch, making defenders miss in space. Then, as a defensive back, he is excellent at making tackles all over the field. He even showed the ability to as a field goal kicker for his team. He was also a great returner. Davis is a playmaker all over the field. He recently picked up an offer from Franklin and Marshall. I expect more offers to come his way.

is an excellent athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. The 1st two plays of his film show his athletic ability. On the 1st play, he scoops up a fumble, races to the other side of the field, and makes multiple defenders miss in route for a long fumble return touchdown. On the 2nd play, he took a kickoff return and returned it for a touchdown. In both plays, he showed his speed and elusiveness. He was used as a running back and as a wide receiver last year. At both positions, he does a good job when in the open field by running past the defense in the open field. Then, on defense, he is a match-up piece that was used as a strong safety and as a free safety. Davis is a good athlete who does a lot of things well on the football field.

was looking comfortable and confident all camp long. Was a pleasure to see him show off soft hands at all three levels of the field. As a wideout who will more than likely eat underneath at Serra Catholic, Davis continues to prove he can be trusted to run multiple routes in the route tree. It’s exactly what he should be doing at this stage of his early football career. Davis came away with a smooth one-hand grab in this one that woke everyone up. Davis showed up, worked hard, and impressed, can’t ask for much more. He, like Halajcio and Darnell, have done enough this offseason to warrant a jump on our ranks.

, I know he’s going to work his tail off to get to where he needs to be. Camp performance aside, that’s what will always stick with me at this point in his career. A real work ethic might be 10x more valuable than any other trait. That being said, I love Davis’ performance during on-air drills. Consistent hands, consistently getting to his spots.

, a pass-catcher with whom I’m all too familiar, has put together a great first year at Serra Catholic. 4.168 GPA after three quarters. Gold Honor Roll status, attendance in order. I’m excited to see what kind of football prospect Davis blossoms into moving forward. Now, I’m equally intrigued to see if he can keep up these scores in the classroom well throughout the next four years. Confident he can do so.
