Continue ReadingSusquehanna Township’s Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5’9″ | 170 lbs | WR Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA has claimed the top wideout spot in his class for some time now. The clear front-runner to remain at the top spot too, Cyrus continues to dominate the off-season for a second consecutive year. Before we ranked the rocket as the top wideout prospect, Cyrus secured offers out of Syracuse, UMass, Kent State, and UConn, firmly placing him as the most sought-after 2025 pass-catcher in the state at the time. His tape and track times backed up that notion. Since the ranking, Cyrus has added 9+ Power Five offers to his name, further validating his claim to the spot. It’ll be tough to surmount Cyrus heading into his junior season.

We hit again with Bonner’s Jalil Hall Jalil Hall 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR Bonner & Prendie | 2025 State PA as the man behind Cyrus in the rankings. Just a Temple offer before the ranking, now with a long list that includes Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and Rutgers just to name a few. Hall is squarely in the mix for the top spot, especially considering the contrasting skillset he provides in relation to Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5’9″ | 170 lbs | WR Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA . Some will view the 6’3, 190-pound big man to hold more value at the position, some will prefer speed over size. Cyrus could expand on his SEC list, Hall might see that level of interest in the coming months.

From a pure football perspective, Michael Scott Michael Scott 5’9″ | 155 lbs | WR Dallastown | 2025 State PA has equal the talent Hall and Cyrus possess. For a while, recruiting didn’t line up with that notion, yet I was far from afraid to stamp the young man as the third-best wideout back in January. Fast forward to today, Dallastown’s Michael Scott Michael Scott 5’9″ | 155 lbs | WR Dallastown | 2025 State PA has racked up three D1 offers, those being out of Maryland, West Virginia, and Temple. Very similar stature and game relative to the current top man Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5’9″ | 170 lbs | WR Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA . Real 4.4 speed, real track star whose route running prowess is growing and developing each time he takes the field. Scott is in the mix for the top overall wideout spot with Hall and Cyrus.

Malvern Prep’s Preston “PJ” Holmes has all the tools, both in terms of size and athleticism, to surmount all of the talent listed above. I truly believe that, Holmes has heard that from me man to man. It’s not smoke either, the young pass-catcher’s frame is growing seemingly with each event. Holmes gets to develop under one of the more seasoned and hands-on coaching staffs in Eastern Pennsylvania, so Holmes is learning how to utilize his growing skillset as well. Health at the QB position should bode well for Holmes’ tape in November. He’s a clear candidate for extensive college interest so long as he keeps his foot on the pedal. Kent State offered Holmes on May 30th.

David Warde David Warde 6’1″ | 150 lbs | ATH William Penn | 2025 State PA claimed a top five spot on our ranks back in January, right after securing his first FBS offer out of UNC Charlotte. A huge opportunity for William Penn’s young blossoming star. The fifth wideout on this list has a case for the one spot. You can argue that David Warde David Warde 6’1″ | 150 lbs | ATH William Penn | 2025 State PA possesses the more complete package of any prospect listed above him. There’s speed and alignment versatility to his game, yet he isn’t hampered by any height deficiencies, standing at six feet tall. Warde might not scream elite at any one specific trait, yet his complete skillset could prove to be the ideal fit for a majority of collegiate suitors.
Lloyd Penn Lloyd Penn 5’11” | 185 lbs | ATH Westinghouse | 2025 State PA left such a lasting impression on me, that he cracked the top 10 without a full seasonal tape on Hudl. I hardly ever rank kids without a complete tape, yet seeing this kid dominate competition live at 7v7 events always stuck with me. His mid-season tape was enough for me to stamp him as a top-ten wideout, that’s us being modest. The University of Miami (OH) has seen enough out of the Westinghouse prospect to extend an offer to Penn, doing so in Early March. I haven’t forgotten about the young man, an athlete who has every right in his name to challenge Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5’9″ | 170 lbs | WR Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA for the top spot, as well as mingle near and around the top five at his position. I could see a future move to ATH, however, since Penn is just as impressive a DB as he is a WR.

The three prospects listed above don’t currently have the recruiting traction equal to the aforementioned prospects at the top of this post. I’ve done this a long time, long enough to know that not having offers at this point in these kids’ careers is hardly something to harp on. Evaluations are still being made, and I have no problem identifying Ian Olsen Ian Olsen 6’0″ | 190 lbs | WR IMG Academy | 2025 FL , Tanie Young Tanie Young 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Trinity | 2025 State PA , and Alijah Turner Alijah Turner 5’11” | 160 lbs | WR St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA as candidates for offers before the season begins. If that prediction proves to be true or not, the main premise stands, these three young men are on the right path to secure future opportunities. Coaches might want to see Olsen run, coaches might want to see Tanie and Turner produce a bit more. It’s only a matter of time in my opinion, so long as these three kids stay in the weight room and the books.
