Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA , the South Carolina commit, continues to excel by using his speed to dominate defenders. Cyrus can just run past defenders and burn them deep for a big play. He can also catch a short pass and make a big play. He can also be used on kickoff returns, where he uses his blazing speed to run past defenders. The other part of his game that I have noticed he continues to get better as a route runner. Cyrus is a legit threat and continues to grow as a player.

Slow start for the second-ranked two-way player. One hell of a second half through. South Carolina commit Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA proved you have to keep him bottled up for a full 48 minutes. You can try your best to throttle his game-breaking abilities for a quarter or two, but if you fall asleep, he’ll strike and change the game in an instant. This automatic spark is likely what South Carolina is interested in, I’m sure they are creating a plan to make said sparks fewer far between each other. Right before halftime, in what would turn out to be a back-and-forth football game, Cyrus would house a punt return to break the spirit of Penn Hills. Cyrus struggled from a pass-catching standpoint, yet the good ones find a way to impact the football game positively regardless of struggles, Cyrus did just that. Some great plays at corner, Cyrus would eventually flash his offensive prowess later in this one too. Susquehanna Township should feel great about this victory, it came with its best prospect not playing up to par. Standards are high for Cyrus if a performance like this isn’t considered up to par. Happy that I got to see him in pads before his career is over.

Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA is one of the best prospects in the class of 2025. He has legit speed and just glides past defenders as a wide receiver. He has a great combination of speed and elusiveness. The other day he committed to South Carolina. Below is what I wrote about him in the past:

He lived up to that hype when he won the 100-meter dash at the PIAA State Track Meet. Cyrus is a good football player as well. Cyrus has legit speed. When a defender gives him space he can run by them. Cyrus is really good after the catch. Several times on film he was thrown a simple hitch route and he turned it into a big play. Cyrus is an elite player who had a strong season for Susquehanna Township and will be playing College Football in the future”

Recruiting Update: Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA is one of the fastest players in the State of Pennsylvania. Since January he has picked up offers from Miami, Boston College, Indiana, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and Oregon. Cyrus has many of the top programs offering him scholarships.

Recruiting Question: Will Cyrus end up at Penn State? There seems to be a lot of mutual interest between Penn State and Cyrus.

He also catches the ball well and constantly makes plays for the Susquehanna Township. He will need a big game to help them defeat Manheim Central.

the Middletown Area tape, proves why we like Cyrus as the top wideout in his class, although the race for the top spot is an ever-changing one, with Scott and Hall on Cyrus’ heels.
It seems like everyone is attempting to catch up to Cyrus’ heels, even the Middletown Area DBs couldn’t do a good job of it.
Cyrus bent the corner on a hitch route and hit gears to accelerate past all DB angles for a score. Something we’ve seen him do for years now.
Cyrus showed off the unreal speed again, taking an end-around handoff for a score some 60+ yards out.
Cyrus’ rep at the 00.43-second mark showcases why he’s more than just speed, watching him make nearly five defenders miss in a short area is why Power Five schools are already offering him scholarship money. Would love to see this kid in person.

Susquehanna Township’s Lex Cyrus Lex Cyrus 5'9" | 170 lbs | ATH Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA has claimed the top wideout spot in his class for some time now. The clear front-runner to remain at the top spot too, Cyrus continues to dominate the off-season for a second consecutive year. Before we ranked the rocket as the top wideout prospect, Cyrus secured offers out of Syracuse, UMass, Kent State, and UConn, firmly placing him as the most sought-after 2025 pass-catcher in the state at the time. His tape and track times backed up that notion. Since the ranking, Cyrus has added 9+ Power Five offers to his name, further validating his claim to the spot. It’ll be tough to surmount Cyrus heading into his junior season.
