The third Oklahoma Showcase camp took place over the weekend at the Titan Sports Complex and we saw plenty of talent throughout the afternoon. Prospects from six different states participated in the event and we saw some great competition. Over the last few days, we’ve had several articles talking about some of the prospects that we saw but in this post, it’s all about the GameChangers on the offensive side of the ball. We’re taking a look at the top quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers from Saturday’s event.

- 2023 Running Back - Bishop Kelley
Bishop Kelley has another big and physical running back in 2023 RB Austin MunsonAustinMunson

. Over the last five to ten years, the Comets have had several standouts that looked similar physically to Munson. More recently it was Zach Middleton and Owen Heinecke. We’re intrigued by Munson’s performance on Saturday, especially during the 1 on 1 session of the camp. The thing that really stood out to me about Munson was his hands and just how strong he is in the upper body. There were a few reps where Munson had to just rip the ball away from a defender and he was able to do just that. The physical play at the camp made us even more excited to check him out once the pads go on in a few weeks during spring practices.
Colton HowardColtonHoward
6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Sapulpa | 2024StateOK
- 2024 Quarterback - Sapulpa
Sapulpa got a boost this offseason with the addition of 2024 quarterback Colton HowardColtonHoward
6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Sapulpa | 2024StateOK
as he transferred from Coweta to Sapulpa this offseason. The Chieftains will have a quarterback who can sling it all over the field and Howard put that arm strength on display on Saturday afternoon. Howard was just one of several different standout and potential breakout quarterbacks. That position was arguably the most talented group that we had on Saturday. Howard showed that he belonged throughout the day. He responded really well to the coaching that he was given and he was constantly looking for more reps and throwing the ball as much as possible. Howard has the chance to be a breakout player in 5A football this fall.
Evan Rader - 2023 Wide Receiver - Mustang
I would say that the majority of the prospects who attended the camp on Saturday were already on our radar in some form or another. That wasn’t the case with Mustang 2023 wide receiver Evan Rader prior to Saturday but he certainly is now. Rader is a good looking prospect at 6’2 and he ran really well during the testing portion and then during the drills. Mustang has a really strong receiving group returning this fall and a returning quarterback to go along with it. Because the Broncos have two outstanding 2023 prospects in Jacobe JohnsonJacobeJohnson
6'4" | DB Mustang | 2023StateOK
and Keegan BassKeeganBass
5'9" | 175 lbs | WR Mustang | 2023StateOK
at receiver, that could provide Rader with plenty of opportunities to have a breakout season this fall. Coming off his performance Saturday, we’re intrigued by this prospect moving forward!
Jaiden CarrollJaidenCarroll
5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Jenks | 2023StateOK
- 2023 Running Back - Jenks
We mentioned it in the positional MVP article that it was a tight race for running back MVP between eventual winner Xavier ShackelfordXavierShackelford
5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Norman | 2023StateOK
of Norman and Jenks 2023 Jaiden CarrollJaidenCarroll
5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Jenks | 2023StateOK
. If we just did the testing and then went home after that, Carroll would have been the runaway winner after his back to back 40 yard dash performance. He put up the two fastest times at the camp with a 4.40 followed by a 4.43 in the 40. Carroll also got work at running back during drills but then would split his time in 1 on 1’s between running back and defensive back. He’s expected to play more defense this fall and he’s been working on those skills all offseason. And as far as Carroll as a running back, we didn’t need to see much to reenforce the fact that he’s one of the best in Oklahoma.
Todd DrummondToddDrummond
6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Pawhuska | 2023StateOK
- 2023 Quarterback - Pawhuksa
We’ve written about this quite a bit already but just in case you haven’t read about it, the 2023 quarterback class in Oklahoma is incredibly talented. Another example of that talent is Pawhuska quarterback Todd DrummondToddDrummond
6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Pawhuska | 2023StateOK
, who had an outstanding first season leading the Huskies last fall. Drummond just participated in drills and the 1 on 1’s due to a nagging injury and spring ball right around the corner. And once that began, he put his arm on display for everyone to check out throughout the afternoon. Drummond is a confident passer and throughout the drills he was very vocal with not only the other quarterbacks but other positions as well. Drummond’s arm talent definitely impressed plenty of people as he was making just about every throw in the book.
Vidal Ortiz IIVidalOrtiz II
6'4" | 210 lbs | WR Westmoore | 2025StateOK
- 2025 Wide Receiver - Westmoore
One of just a few 2025 prospects that made our list of top performers is Westmoore’s wide receiver Vidal Ortiz IIVidalOrtiz II
6'4" | 210 lbs | WR Westmoore | 2025StateOK
. Ortiz was already on our radar after his freshman season and was ranked in our first batch of 2025 rankings earlier this year. But this was our first chance to really see Ortiz up close and check out his game throughout. And overall, he was one of the better and more consistent wide receivers during the camp. From his testing numbers to his work during the drills, Ortiz had a really good day in our eyes. Our camp has been very wide receiver heavy in the past but there was a nice balance between the WR’s and DB’s on Saturday. Meaning there was more work for everyone and Ortiz took advantage of the added reps.
