is one of the best overall players in Oklahoma and that’s been the case for a while now. Last season, Haynes emerged as a true threat in all three phases of the game. He became the team’s leading receiver, a lockdown cornerback and a major threat in the return game. The difference in the top three overall prospects is very small and Haynes has a very good argument for being the top guy in this class. This season, Haynes has been outstanding as the Titans have taken their game to a new level this fall. And that statement is crazy to think about considering where they’ve been over the last few seasons. Haynes has Carl Albert right back in a position to win their third straight state title.

was the best football player on the field. He can do everything and he did it at a very high level last season. He was the team’s leading receiver on offense. He then turned around and was a shutdown corner on defense. And he was also an absolute monster in the return game with both kicks and punts. Haynes has been considered a top five overall prospect in the state’s 2025 class for a while now and you could make a very solid argument that he’s right at the top. He is a very fun player to watch and is the third and final part of Carl Albert’s OU commits.

is going to come into this season as one of the very best football players in Oklahoma. He’s been a consensus top five overall prospect for a while but when you look at the impact he has on the field, it’s unbelievable. He was Carl Albert’s leading receiver on offense, a lockdown corner on defense and one of the top returners in the state on special teams. For this ranking update, we’ve finally moved Haynes from the “athlete” designation to defensive back as the defensive side of the ball is where he’s destined to be at the next level. But before he heads to Oklahoma to play defense, he has one more season where he’ll look to tear it up in all three phases.

is right there with Roberts and has a legitimate argument for being the top prospect in the class. On an absolutely loaded Carl Albert team in 2023, you can make the argument that Haynes was the most dominant player on that title team. On offense, Haynes was Carl Albert’s leading receiver in all three categories. On defense, Haynes was a dynamic defensive back that was able to lock down some talented wide receivers throughout the season. And on special teams, opponents learned the hard way that you should avoid kicking to Haynes because he was going to cause a lot of problems in the return game. For now, we have Haynes listed as an “athlete” but it’s starting to look like the secondary will be his home at the next level.

has been the team’s most valuable player. On offense, he’s the leading receiver and he can take a short pass and turn it into a touchdown in the blink of an eye. On defense, he’s a ball hawk in the secondary and he also happens to be one of the better returners in Class 5A. When you can have that kind of impact in all three phases of the game, you are a truly special talent. And that’s exactly what Haynes is and that’s why he’s being recruited by just about every school by now.

has been Carl Albert’s best overall football player this year. He’s their leading receiver on the offensive side of the ball. He’s taken a pair of interceptions back for touchdowns on defense. And then Haynes is also a threat in the special teams department. He’s taken three kicks back and a punt back for a touchdown. On a team full of stars, Haynes might be the best of the bunch. And when it comes to a very loaded 2025 recruiting class in the state of Oklahoma, you can also start making the argument that Haynes might need to be at the top there.
